Purchased 10.5 inch I-Pad Pro as a replacement for my wife's 3 year I-Pad mini (15 Gb and memory full). Happy with decision to buy 10.5 inch Pro (64 Gb) at $525 sale over base 9.5 inch I-Pad (listed at $320) for following reasons: a) base I-pad is only 32 GB memory. b) The base I-pad processor is slower than new generation Pro. c) base I-pad has lower resolution camera. d) base I-pad seems to might have lower quality screen construction (from what I read from 'professional tech' reviews). e) At present time, the base I-pad is not compatible with Apple Pencil. When I factored in these 5 points, the Pro was a better choice for me and worth the 'extra $'. The Pro is very 'snappy', I am happy with performance, speeds. We bought Pencil too. Wife likes Pencil since reduces finger smudges on screen. We are not artists so we'll see if we experience other benefits....jury still out. Also, the camera is excellent, our 'goto' for photos.

I got this iPad for work. The iPad is so versatile that I don’t even use my MacBook anymore. Every electronic I have is Apple, this includes my Apple TV, watch, phone, MacBook and old iPad. Speed - This iPad is so fast even with tons of apps open and all the files I’ve dropped in it. Slender - it’s so thin that it fits anywhere which I love. I’m able to toss it in my purse and go. It’s also so light. I used to carry my mackbook pro everywhere and it was so heavy. This is a huge reason I switched. Sound - there are speakers on both sides of the iPad instead of one which makes the sound much Louder. However, I wish the iPad had a sound switch similar to the iPhone. It would be great if it vibrated instead of blaring ringtones for the days I’m in a meeting. I’d like to know I received some notification without the sound sometimes. Accessories - I have not purchased the stylus or keyboard YET, but I can’t wait. The iPad quickly goes from a tablet to a laptop. This is convenient for the days I just need a note pad and I can easily readjust to just a tablet or the days I need to type long winded documents. I wish I had this in college. Apps - I’ve got every Microsoft office app. My desktop at the office is a dell and I can easily access work documents from my office desktop when I’m out of the office. Plus most of these documents go into my file folder on the iPad. Another thing I love is one note where I can have so many notes that are quickly organized. Photos - the photo quality is superb! It’s clear and bright. This also goes to resolution. The screen is amazing and extremely vivid. I’d hate for someone to zoom in on my teeth on a photo of me! I am absolutely happy that I finally bought the iPad. It’s a great investment for school or work!!!

This is an pro model with almost same dimensions as last yers but with a bigger and sharper screen size. This has true tone which is a very nice feature and does two things first,saves battery second makes screen very much adaptable to your surroundings. This is fast with the A10 bionic chip and has ample amount of RAM to keep it going. Another great feature is the surround sound it produces from 4 speaker that are placed on top and bottom of the ipad giving its viewers a bliss to watch entertainment on this tablet.

The screen quality is definitely amazing and this device is fast. The standard iPad is already pretty good in build/display quality and if you don't need writing abilities, the cost is much better for what you get. However, if you want the best tablet there is, the iPad Pro has no comparisons. I've tried Android tablets and the software for Android tablets is no where near the iPad's. There are definitely good Android phone software, but somehow there is not for tablets. The iPad is great for watching movies in amazing quality by the bed and the speakers are far better than the standard iPad. The standard iPad has sound coming from one speaker, while the iPad pro has four speakers with nice trebles and bass during movies. The writing abilities with paired with the Apple Pencil are more smoother than the Microsoft Surface. I use OneNote on the Surface and the iPad Pro and the software is much less prone to crashing on the iPad than the Surface. Overall, if you want a device that turns on instantly, has natural writing feel to it, lasts a long time, great build, and an amazing display, the iPad Pro currently has no equal.

The 10.5 iPad Pro is the sweet spot of tablets. Couple this with an Apple Pencil and I no longer need a laptop. Several drawing and drafting apps available on the App Store take advantage of the Pencil's unparalleled capabilities to permit me to produce stunning works of art. Super fast and fluid. The specs rival those of MacBook Pros from only a year or so ago. The camera is very good. I believe it's the same as the iPhone 7 and has quad LED flash too. For the price and capability this is too much if all you need is a mini TV for Netflix binging in bed. If that's the case get the regular iPad 9.7.But if you are ready to explore new possibilities for your creative side or even some productivity, this is the iPad for you.

Recently purchased the iPad pro 10.5 inch. Amazing how light and thin it is and the screen is so brilliant in color. The battery lasts very long and the speed of the processor is fast. Looking forward to getting the pen and using it with the iPad,

I recently purchased this tablet and I couldn't be happier. I previously had a 3rd generation ipad, so this is a HUGE improvement in many different areas. The first thing that jumps out to you is the clarity of the screen. I am a professional photographer and the Ipad Pro is literally the clearest I've ever seen my photos. The amount of pixels on screens is mind blowing. The other major thing I love is the weight. The ipad weighs in it at roughly one pound so it barely feels like you're holding it. Apple hasn't released iOS publicly yet, but if you search hard enough you can find the beta on the internet. iOS 11 gives the ipad a completely different feel. It feels more like a computer now than a laptop. The amount of features they added are amazing! The battery life is pretty sound so far. I was worried about the strength of the screen sucking down battery life but surprisingly its lasted quite long! I see no reason why you shouldn't upgrade to this ipad if you're looking for a new model. The differences between the air and the pro are significant!

My wonderful wife got me a iPad Pro for Christmas! I have been a MSFT windows guy, own SP3, for years so there is a learning curve for me, but so far so good. Screen is amazing and touch is quick and responsive. IOS and some touch/swipe gestures take some time to learn, but compared to my wife’s work iPad (standard iPad) the pro seems much thinner, lighter and better screen. I was worried about only having 64gb, but will wait and see how I do. If I need more memory I will be getting a 1tb or 2tb WD wireless external hard drive as they are rated pretty well and CNET review is good.

Purchased this for work, along with the Apple Pencil. As an audio engineer in the modern age, an iPad is essential to mixing monitors or front of house for live performances. I have noticed whilst using the pencil, along with Yamaha’s StageMix software, I can be oh so much more precise when dialing that monitor mix. The size is perfect, as I feel that the 12 is simply too large for practicality. Battery life lasts all day. Sound and screen are fantastic, I find that I am using it much more in my daily life than my previous iPads.

My old Air2 was getting slow and running down the battery quickly...this new iPad Pro fixed both those problems and has noticeably better camera with flash, better screen size and color accuracy, and 4 speakers...though I usually use headphones. All this in a trim package that’s only a hair larger than the Air2, but the old smartcover does work on the Pro. Between the great Christmas sale price and the handy BestBuy trade in program, this upgrade wasn’t too painful.

I haven’t used an iPad in a while. I have just been using my phone for everything. Plus I have my desk top at home and work and even a lap top. I don’t use my lap top very often because it is big and not easy to carry around. I love to draw and I have seen a lot of people go paperless because of the pen. I wanted something that would be easy to do layouts for customers and something I can easly take notes on. I used to have a samsung note 8 and would use the pen, but still found the phone hard to write on for long notes. I also didn’t want to break the bank getting the newest iPad Pro, considering I wasn’t sure how much I would be using it. Soooo....after looking at the newest iPad and this pro, I picked the pro because of the pen. Everything I saw, suggested if you wanted to use the pen, the pro would be a better option. Even though I can see this wouldn’t replace a desk top...they are getting really close to making that possiable. I bought one of the cases with the keyboard (using it now) and it feels amazing and I have enough room to type. I also, wasn’t sure about the size. If the 10.5 would be big enough. YES...it is big enough. I don’t know if I would like to be any bigger. This is a good size to give me enough room to look at everything, type, draw, and carry around with ease. Fits in my purse and isn’t heavy. The pen charges really fast. SInce you have to use the first gen pen, I didn’t like the way you have to charge it. But honestly, it take 8 min for the pen to fully charge and that doesn’t cause any issues. I can see how someone may lose the lid to the pen easy, and I will be buying something to attach to make sure I don’t lose it. :) The speed is amazing. I have taken ALOT of pictures and I haven’t ran out of speed or space with everything I have done. I got the 64gb. SInce most of my stuff is on cloud, I didn’t see the point in paying the extra for more space. The sound is amazing on it. The battery has been good. I use it and when I am not, I plug it in. Doesn’t seem to drain any more then I would normally expect it to. I love the pen. I think it was the best thing that IPads could have. If you like to draw, or want to go paperless. This is the way to go. I love that I have a pen to draw when I don’t want to type notes out. Or attach my keyboard and type away. Either way, it really opens a lot of doors for staying organized and being more productive.

Its not the cheapest, its not the fanciest, but it just works as advertised and if you've had an iPhone or iPad before, it is so easy to figure out and use right away. I love the larger screen and the thin/lite weightiness of it. This was an upgrade from a 4 your old iPad and its a seemingly large jump both in speed and screen size/resolution. I kick myself that I didn't upgrade sooner. I can't wait to have the large screen on the airplane.

I updated my 3rd generation iPad to this one and the difference was more than obvious. In every feature, the new iPad Pro excelled previous models. Faster, lighter, with a better rear and front cameras, with the iPen, and many new features, this iPad Pro was my best purchase I've made for a long time. You have to learn how to transfer files from a computer to the iPad which is not always an easy task.

I've owned a bunch of different generations of the iPad and this by far is my favorite. It is slim, light weight, has narrow bezels, the sound is much improved (can comfortably watch movies on it with a fan blowing in the background without having to turn it the whole way up) and the screen is fantastic. Its pretty cool how the screen will adjust the colors to make sure something always looks how it should. The battery life blows my laptop away for general internet browsing and watching movies. Apple has done a great job with this iPad. My only quibble is the home button, now that I am used to the iPhone 8's non moving home button, having the home button actually depress when touched takes a little getting used to again. This isn't a problem by any stretch of the imagination, it's just an observation when going back and forth between the two devices.

you may say that i am exaggerating by saying its perfect tablet in every way, " yes i read minds lol" but lets examine all the features shall we ? 1- the screen: gorgeous, the tactile sensation is great and you can't get enough by looking at it from watching netflix and hulu to studying medicine to answering mail to do office work, i would say best screen in tablet 2- battery life is 10 hours and 40 minutes. i call this complete one day of use 3- weight is light and it does not feel large in your hand though the screen is very large, this is due to thin bezels 4- performance: speed of light very smooth and geek bench gave me scores that are much above many laptops nowadays 5- speakers are perfect for a tablet there are 4 of them and the sound is very clear and rich

I upgraded from an iPad Air 2 to the new iPad Pro 10.5. As one would expect, it performs better due to it's more powerful processor. Though the screen is larger, it's not cumbersome to use or hold and weight doesn't seem to much heavier than the Air 2 it replaced. Screen resolution is about the same but Apple made some tech improvements to improve how we view the display. The better camera is nice to have, though you won't find stand on the rim of the Grand Canyon with my iPad taking vacation pictures. While I could have gotten away with buying a regular iPad, it wasn't a big enough of an improvement over what I already had to justify buying one.

The 10.5-inch iPad is great. I upgraded from the iPad 4 and the improvements are dramatic. Larger screen, thinner body, lighter weight. Much less fatiguing to hold for long periods. App opening and processing speeds are super fast. Scrolling is very, very smooth. A pleasure to use in all respects.

I bout this for my wife. She was using a 4-year old tablet, and with latest Apps becoming bigger and more graphics demanding, she was complaining she felt it slow. So I bought this new for Xmas. She simply loves it. The screen is crispy and like a inch more in size but, it makes the difference, but it also fast. Playing high compressed videos (like the ones we have to save our memories) is very smooth. So it's because the screen and more processing power. And the Sound is great too. Funny is that even a little bigger than the other old one, this seems even lighter, and it still fits perfectly in her purse. She's happy, so I'm happy.

I had an iPad Air 2 before this and let me tell you it’s a lot faster and smoother then my Air 2. Pro motion really is a thing to experience to tell the difference. Camera is specially front is more sharp too. Plus on a different note I really appreciate Best Buy price match experience
