I was able to get this product a lot lower then advertised and I am so far very satisfied with my purchase. Fast, easy to use, and very portable, which is primarily the reason why I bought it. I used to use my laptop in class, but due to limited space since I'm sharing a table to with students, and having my books out at the same time, I was able to save on space with this gadget. I'm regret not getting one sooner. All in all, great. Looking forward to seeing the other things it can do.

I love my new ipad pro. It's everything that i wanted. Very fast. The camera is fantastic. I love the bigger screen.

Purchased this about 3 weeks ago when I got it for $519. And I love this thing. Went from an Apple IPad Air 1 and this thing is 1000x faster than that. I also had the benefit of having the iPad 2017 and tested both. The 10.5 was still slightly faster and can do a lot more. But does it warrant the $250 price diffference? If you have a recent iPad then no, get the IPad. If you have an older iPad and want to upgrade and do lots of work or art design or even music and want to keep current with the 10,000 iOS updates then grab this. But the IPad 2017 is more than enough if all you do is watch Netflix, text and lounge and as of Dec. 2017 is $279. IPad Pro 10.5 is great device and geared (in my opinion) for a college student or creator or the I want as close to a mobile, light “computer” as possible.

I love this updated ipad pro. I had an IPAD PRO 9.7 and it works well. The new ipad pro 10.5 has many better features. the size is a little bit larger but it does not add any weight. It is very thing and comfortable. I recoomend you to use the logitech keyboaed as well and you'd better purchase apple pencil. This will make your ipad very very powerful. I use apple pencil to do notes to my papers and all kinds of readings and sketching. Very helpful.

Apple in my opinion has the corner on the tablet market more then any other device market right now. Sure, the iphone is debatably a great smartphone, but talk to any android fanboy and you'll leave second guessing. However, after using the new ipad pro for a month I can confidently say that its capability to act as a great media consumption device and paper replacement is impeccable and additionally it is a the best tablet on the planet at this moment. Yes, the surface pro is a computer, but the app store from Apple is filling up with more and more software every day. Additionally, I urge anyone to compare geekbench scores comparing ipad to surface pro. The multi-core performance on this device is outrageous. I do think it worth saying that this is NOT a computer replacement. The split screen view is good for light multitasking, but if you need to do heavy research it will not occur as fast with this device. That being said, the amazing part about what apple has built here is it is possible to do pretty much any "standard" task you would do with a laptop. I want to add some additional comments on the note taking abilities of this tablet. The apple pencil paired with the ipad pro is THE best e-ink device i have ever used. The only thing that keeps me from believing it is paper is the glassy texture. Some people complain about this and even buy screen protectors to mimic paper. However, I do not mind it all as it really is just a pet peeve more then a functional hinderance in my opinion. The notability app has been helping me through school and the ability to annotate textbooks, homework, and integrate them in real time while in lecture has literally changed the way i experience college. May sound like hyperbole, but if you put this device to work and take advantage of the right apps in the correct ways the ipad will not falter. Also, the processor on this has not stuttered once ever since getting it. The six core processing power shows during use along with the 100% seamless 120hz touch refresh rate. I want to leave this review with a statement about the cons. Overall, I have been nothing but impressed, but something that irked me about the whole experience purchasing this was the cost of accessories. Additionally, although the ipad is not a laptop replacement there will be times that you will need to type some on screen. It is awkward typing on the big screen like it is a phone and whenever i do i wish i had the smart keyboard, but it is over a $100! even a $100 I could go with, but well over it makes the device a lot more expensive then its base prince not to mention the ~$90 for the pencil. Throw in $50 for a UAG case and suddenly you're ipad is ~%50 more expensive. These issues are to be expected with apple products I suppose, but it feels deceptive. However, if you know what you're getting here, the utility it can offer is great for those that need it. I cannot recommend it enough especially for those with businesses or in education/college.

From speed, to screen size, to resolution, to how light, don’t know how anyone chooses different

Comparing to my old ipad air, this one by far a lot faster, screen look nicer. Camera is great.

Bought it as a bday gift for my dad and set it up for him. He's impressed and so am I. Battery life, pencil, speed, sound, color and refinement. It's a step up from his iPad Air. But too bad he won't be using a lot of other productivity features, movie making, and photo shop apps.

I got the base model 10.5 inch Pro. I got this because i didnt want to carry around my pc in my backpack on campus and also because i had an iPhone; this device works seemlessly with my iPhone. For example i can charge my iPhone upstairs and if i get a message or phone call i can reply on my iPad. As for school i use it to take notes and its very light and compact. Im still trying to decide which MacBook model i want but for now this iPad will do just fine. The processor is literally the best processor i have ever seen on any device. This thing is smoother than Melting butter. The four stereo speakers sound so great i cant even compare them to any tablet. As far as resolution this iPad is clearer than any orher iPad (Unless you get the 12.9 in. iPad which has higher resolution) im really enjoying my iPad and im super confident it will last a long time even after my college journey.

This makes the third IPad that I have purchased. This new one, my Christmas present to myself, happened because I cracked the screen on my IPad Pro. The new pro seems to be lighter. Has many new features and the screen is a bit larger, which makes it easier to read. I looked at the 12:5 IPad, and thought it was too large to fit in my purse. I like to take it with me to read when I have appointments.

This was my 4th Ipad purchase. I got the 1st one, 3rd one, Air2 and this one. This ipro pad is awesome. The difference in the screen size is amazing. I was worried that it wouldn’t be that much of a difference I thought I should have gone with the 12.9 size. I’m so glad I didn’t and stuck with this one. So clear. The extra space makes a huge difference in how pages load on it. Much faster as well.

Super fast speed for everyday note taking. The Apple Pencil is a great tool in addition to the IPad Pro for using in class. The display is great and I average about 10 hours of battery life on a full charge. I would recommend buying a Smart Keyboard for people who need to write emails, take notes, or type more than a few quick paragraphs. Overall is a great tool for a students and everyday use

This 10.5 in. iPad Pro is signicantly improved from the prior version. The screen is bigger with what seems to be better resolution. The battery life is much greater. The newer chip is a lot faster. It is so much more of a user-friendly device.

This is my first iPad, compared to the tablets I have owned, it is hands down the best. The display is outstanding, 4k video is great. It will take a long time to learn the many things it can do. The biggest surprise is the camera, I have some indoor photos that I would have a hard time matching with my full frame cameras. And with one hundred dollars off ,it was too good to pass up.

I don't really need all the latest bells and whistles, so the economy model would have been fine for my use. I am really glad I spent extra to get the larger size screen....it is awesome. I upgraded from an iPad 3 that was also much heavier...again a plus. I had to return the first one I purchased because it would not stay connected to wi-fi (Best Buy made the return a breeze). I was on the phone with Apple for a couple hours trying things the night before the last day I could return it in store, but nothing made it stay connected. Occasionally the screen will just go black on the current one. I can hear Siri, but can see nothing. I have to shut it down and restart to get the screen back. This happens on my iPhone as well. Makes me concerned about my Apple products I used to love and trust so much.
