The battery lasts a VERY long time. Watched about 8 hours worth of movies on a road trip before having to charge it. That was with max brightness as well. Just put a good child proof case on it and a screen protector and you should be all set!

I then saw online Black Friday where the sale was a little better , so i called customer service and they took care of me with no problem by adjusting the price to make it a better offer from what i had pad two weeks ago .I will be shopping more with this company the customer service was awesome. Way to go go team Best Buy!!!
