I also use this as a general tablet with which to look up information, do research on products, hold video calls, and read my Kindle books. Battery life is good, Image quality is great. Sound is good. I like it. It can almost run as a standalone laptop, except I'm too cheap to spend another $300 on the magic keyboard.

My husband had an imac and iphone but never wanted an ipad. I knew he would love it but needed to get one that worked flawlessly with an amazing screen. I bought it for our 50th wedding anniversary and he is in love!!! I have also purchased ipads for all 3 granddaughters and my 99 year old aunt. She said it has transformed her life!!(She was 96 when we gave it to her!) This model is far superior in every way! Hope it lasts as long as the previous ones!
