CR top pick doesn’t disappoint

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was consumer reports top pick with brand new A14 CPU, higher than 11” iPad Pro with 3 year old A12 CPU. I fully agree with CR, but beware of dual marketed accessories. I bought a speck case and the lid detect magnet was located for iPad Pro 11”, so it didn’t work. Also, some cases cover the Touch ID button rendering it’s useless. Apple care is only $69 and I suspect it’s easier to repair. I briefly considered MBA M1, but the lack of touchscreen and the weird way it ran the iPad apps was a major turnoff.

I was indecisive as to whether I wanted the pro or air, but the friendly Best Buy employee that specializes in Apple products informed me that for my application of the iPad, which is for school work, the air is just as good of a choice for me as the pro other than the screen size difference. I am happy with my purchase, the iPad air has a great battery life and syncs to my phone and laptop smoothly. If you are still debating whether or not to get it, this is your sign!!

The build quality is exemplary like most Apple products. Fingerprint reader is a nice touch. The chip used for this revision produces snappy responsiveness. No sluggish application switching issues whatsoever. Adding in the Apple Pencil version 2 has been great fun as well. The only drawback is really the price. Apple anything is quite expensive...

Not only is it a huge upgrade, but it provides ease of use with such quick response and easily connected to all over compatible devices in without any fuss!! The only negative thing that I found is that some apps on my iPhone didn’t work on on the IPad or not all functions of these particular apps were available. These apps were left to be accessible via the iPhone, while the rest were fully functional on the IPad.
