I took a chance and purchased the excellent open box condition. Overall, the iPad Air works well. However, as soon as I open the box there was an obvious Dent on the side. I would not consider that to be excellent condition.

Overall I like the iPad Air and pencil. I’da given it a five if the power/recharge cord would have been longer than a meter, that’s a fat yard, not enough to sit comfortably with it in your lap. Another $20 out of pocket.
