I am using this for a couple of days now and discovered that there are so many things I can do with it due to its power (M2) unlike my regular 10” ipad.

I’ve been using the iPad Pro 11-inch with the M2 chip for about a month now, and it’s hands down the best tablet I’ve owned. The performance is incredibly fast—apps launch instantly, multitasking is seamless, and even demanding tasks like video editing or gaming run flawlessly. The display is another standout feature. The Liquid Retina screen is sharp, vibrant, and smooth thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate. It’s perfect for both work and entertainment. Pairing it with the Apple Pencil 2 makes note-taking and drawing feel natural and responsive, especially with the hover feature enabled by the M2 chip. Battery life has been solid, easily getting me through a full day of use. I also appreciate the lightweight, slim design—super easy to carry around without sacrificing power. My only minor complaint is that accessories like the Magic Keyboard and Pencil are still sold separately, which adds quite a bit to the total cost if you're aiming for a full laptop replacement setup. The iPad Pro 11” M2 Chip is a powerhouse performer, yet easy to carry and balance on your lap to work on. In its understated appearance and squared off corners, it can process and manage data to exceed many of the big Macs. The storage level I chose was the 256 GB because I keep my iPads for a number of years. I traded in an iPad Pro 10.5” 2017 for this device and received a very fair trade-in value from Best Buy. Although I thought about the current generation of iPad Air, I compared the devices on the Apple web site. I have enjoyed designing and publishing because the screen resolution and the color are authentic and appealing. Coming from an older but still very function Pro, I thought about the iPad 10th Generation, but decided I would be taking a step backward because I would miss the Pro Motion. The 10 Core GPU of this little device is confident of handling any graphics demands placed upon it. (That’s extraordinary power in a portable device! It’s actually six cores more than the 4 core GPU of the iPad 10.9” iPad 10th Gen.) For me, the Face ID is a game changing feature. With my previous iPad Pro, I couldn’t get it to read my fingerprint. So when it locked up, I had to enter the passcode too often to think about. The five (!) studio quality microphones create an arguably better sound than my MacBook Air (again proving that size is not necessary to be a transcendant device in every way). No discussion would be complete without a discussion of the battery. The battery is fairly powerful as well, and it does last at least 20 hours with 48% still remaining. Best Buy gave me a very good deal on my iPad Pro and I traded in the iPad Pro 10.5” for a good price to Best Buy.

The 256GB storage is a blessing for someone like me who hoards apps and photos; I haven't had to worry about space at all. The Retina display shines when I'm editing photos and has the best in class performance. The colors pop, making my amateur photography look surprisingly professional. And with ProMotion, sketching on Procreate feels buttery smooth – it's like my digital pencil glides across the screen. The M2 chip's power really comes through during my video calls. I can run a presentation, have multiple tabs open, and still experience no stutter. It's multitasking made easy. Lastly, the battery life is solid. I spent an entire day at the park, writing on Pages and streaming music, and I still had juice left in the evening. It is indeed a robust companion for both my creative hobbies and daily tasks. It's efficient, powerful, and a joy to use.

Tried the 12.9 inch iPad Pro, but it was too heavy (1.5 lbs) to hold in 1 hand and play games or watch videos in bed, so I returned that one and this time reviewed the weight of each of the iPad models. The iPad, iPad Air, and iPad Pro 11 inch are all around 1 lb. Not sure why the 12.9 inch is and entire 1/2 lb heavier, but I am on day 3 of using the 11 inch and I really like it (coming originally from an iPad Air which died about a month ago). Maybe the Pro was overkill for me because I really enjoyed my iPad Air for years, but I tend to spend the money to get the best products even when I really don’t need all the power. I ended up buying the keyboard as well (using it right now to type this review) and it works perfectly. Overall satisfied and happy with the screen resolution, size, weight and performance. The only downfall is the resolution is supposedly better on the 12.9 inch iPad Pro (vs the 11 inch iPad Pro) , but I also read the human eye wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

I get so much use out of this. Being able to dock and use an external monitor, use a Magic Keyboard like a laptop, the pencil for note taking. The memory is great, processor isn’t stressed, battery life is rad. I prefer the smaller size as well to be more compact, Magic Keyboard is cheaper (there are alternatives but the apple keyboard is nice, has a separate charge port, and will fall under your AppleCare), and just easier to hold/type on screen or take up less space. I’m glad I spent the extra for the pro and for the extra little bit of space. This is my jam

I bought this device with the magic keyboard as a replacement device to take with me for travel. I here are the pros & cons. Pros: split screen for double app work, beautiful graphic, by itself, it's light with tons of features Cons: with keyboard, heavy. Camera is positioned vertically do works great stand alone but keyboard will not work. When set on portrait direction on keyboard to charge, camera is off centered. Apps and ios software take a lot of memory. Overall a good device with good features and speed. Make sure you get at least 256gb, not if you are doing graphics, media & photography.
