It is the fastest and the lightest iPad Pro. Looks excellent. The camera is the best part especially the front camera with center stage. The display is good with 120Hz refresh rate. However it's not worth an upgrade if you already have iPad Pro 2020 model until Apple announces something which will take advantage of the M1 chip set. I wish 11 inch model had the same liquid retina XDR display like the 12.9 inch model. The battery life is excellent provided with a 20W charger. Everything else is good.

The iPad Pro rocks for students like me. It's fast, looks cool, and handles all my school stuff easily. Taking notes with the Apple Pencil is a breeze, and the big, bright screen is awesome for reading. It's not too heavy to lug around, so it's perfect for campus life. Keeps me organized and on top of things – definitely a student's best friend!

i absolutely love this ipad. i am a college student who primarily takes handwritten notes and needs to annotate pdfs and documents. i use goodnotes on my ipad with a paper-like screen protector to replicate that paper and pencil feel. i absolutely love taking notes on my ipad! i use it for watching youtube videos and other streaming platforms. it’s wonderful and lightweight to take on a plane and watch stuff. very powerful specs provide a snappy and smooth experience. i love it so much

I bought this model for myself on Fathers Day and absolutely love it! I have accessed and updated my work files through Google drive, Evernote, and Dropbox. I read the news, search the web, manage photo albums in my iCloud image library, and check the weather. I've watched videos from YouTube and other streaming services while sending the audio to external speakers through Bluetooth. I prefer using this device rather than my laptop because of its speed (M1 processor) and sharp display. My purchase included a Logitech Combo Touch iPad Pro Keyboard Folio and an Apple Pencil, and they all work great together. I often operate for days on a single battery charge. I have nearly ninety apps installed and still have over 223 Gb available.

This powerful and versatile iPad has done everything I needed it to and more. It has served as a presentation computer via HDMI adapter for when I taught at work, has performed very well with all of Microsoft products when writing papers, and is thinner and lighter than any laptop I have ever had.

I had a 2016 iPad Pro and it was a great tablet but over the years it got slower, the battery did not last as long and my 32G was used up! So for my birthday my wife bought me the new 256G iPad Pro and wow what an improvement. It has plenty of storage, the battery last twice as long, it’s super fast and the camera is impressive even when zooming in. I hesitated and wobbled between the pro and the air and I’m happy with the pro, nice choice. I highly recommend this tablet.

What is there to dislike? It's super fast with the M1 chip. It has a vivid display and the best camera setup on a tablet. FaceID and the 120Hz ProMotion display coupled with the M1 chip were what pushed me to buy the Pro over the iPad Air. Battery life is fantastic, and the speaker quality is one of the best in a tablet that I've listened to. This coupled with the Apple Pencil & Magic keyboard display is an absolute no-brainer.

The 11-inch iPad Pro has been a phenomenal addition to my tech collection, offering a blend of power, portability, and versatility that is hard to match. The size is perfect for on-the-go use, easily fitting into my bag, yet the screen is large enough to comfortably work on documents, browse the web, and watch media.

Love my new iPad Pro!!! Opted for another 11" version (coming from the pandemic 2020 trump stimi iPad Pro 11") instead of the 12.9" for several reasons. 12.9" is waaay too big to be held in your hands and used for any kind of productivity. Sure it can probably be done but not efficiently. Secondly i don't have faith in the mini LED setup surviving multiple years without issue... people already have multiple issues out the box. Thirdly the amount of time it would take to charge would almost double even using a substantial charging brick... Fourthly I'm a pretty mobile guy who's always on the go... I honestly didn't want to be "that guy" lugging around and wielding an ipad that large... Fifth and foremost the battery wont hold up as long as the 11" regardless of settings or use-case... and will more than likely degrade due to the amount of power pulling from the screen whether your using HDR content or not. I was all in for the 12.9" but the tech is "too new" and the drawbacks to efficiency far outweigh the gains... 11 inches is the way to go... super portable, not power hungry, and allowed for more SSD for slightly less money than the entry level 12.9". (256GB - 995$)

    Good hardware bad operating system

Good hardware hamstrung by operating system. To call this device “Pro” is a joke. A single port, headphone jack removed, no ability to run desktop software, relegates this device to media consumption. I nicknamed mine iPad ProN, I can download a lot of movies on it, and that’s it. Jokes aside, Apple did a lot of chest thumping, promoting their M1 chip and it is fast indeed. But if you want to use true Pro animation software like TvPaint animation or Toonboom Harmony, you are out of luck. Not because the device is not able to handle it, but because Apple restricts you. I had the 12” and found it too big for media consumption. 11” is big enough for me. I use it to draw in Procreate, and some 2d animation in Rough Animator. I say no to subscription software so I didn’t try Adobe stuff. There is a nice synth app named Waldorf Nave, if you want to connect one of those usb keyboards and play, but is hard to integrate it with other hardware instruments, or send your signal to a hardware mixer due to the lack of ports on the device, and I can not use my wired headphones because they took away the headphone jack. Battery life is decent, screen quality is good, I got the Apple care because I am a little bit rough on my electronics. To summarize, you get a sports car with wheelbarrow wheels when you buy an iPad ProN. Buy if money is no object, else, you there are other options if you want to draw, like a Wacom tablet. You will have the best drawing experience with a pen you don’t have to charge, you just have to connect it to a computer. Another option is Microsoft Surface running a real operating system, so you get access to desktop apps. I still have one of the earlier versions when they were using Wacom, then they switch to Ntrig and I didn’t like the pen response for drawing, but maybe the new gen coming 2021 will surprise me. Another option is the regular iPad, that will work for majority of cases, doing everything the so called “pro” is doing for a lot les money. I didn’t try Android so I will abstain on that.

Great high quality product that is fast and easy to use. The screen is stunning and has all the features expected plus some new ones. Start up and set up was a breeze. All of my data and pictures transferred over. Extremely satisfied. A little pricier than others, but you get what you pay for with Apple products.

I love my iPad Pro, it has become my laptop. With its performance, new features of iOS and all the new apps - it truly is highly productive. I added an Apple Pencil and a logitech keyboard case and it is a very useful configuration. The size and portability of the device makes it worth the investment. I have been using this device since Oct 2021.

I’ve had every iPad Pro except the 12 inch big boy models but these new iPads with the (iPhone 11 camera) have been my favorite so far. I love how thin they are and how lightweight they are as well. This model is identical to the 2020 model of the iPad Pro 11 so you can’t really tell them apart but with the M1 chip all the power is under the hood on this guy. For those who don’t know, it uses USB Type C to charge so MacBook users, Galaxy users, and anyone else who has Type C devices will benefit from this. This iPad has a big battery so it’ll last all day, mine is used for media consumption so Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Starz, ShowTime and mostly YouTube. I’m a gamer as well so this large screen is a perfect companion if you have a Xbox one or Series S or X and like to use the streaming feature that lets you stream your Xbox game in real-time from your console as long as you are on the same WiFi network as your Xbox. Honestly this thing is great for gaming especially with the refresh rate on it so get you a flip case and a Bluetooth controller, prop it up and game on. Can’t talk about the iPad without mentioning the 4 super loud and clear stereo speakers, they will fill up a room and to take full advantage of the stereo surround sound, turn your iPad sideways while watching HD content and you’ll notice the difference.

Great ipad. I returned the WiFi only version for 5G cellular version which has GPS. This thing runs like a race car. M1 chip, 8gb or 16gb ram, thunderbolt port, WiFi 6 support, 5G cellular available, etc. It is the best tablet you can buy. Future proof and very fast. The apple keyboard or logi keyboard makes it close to a laptop. In the near future, pro apps are possible also. No regrets for me, great tablet. The 12.9 tablet has the mini led screen which is super for HD and the larger screen is great. But the 11 inch version is so much more compact for traveling. The choice is up to you, both are great tablets. To me: home use and movies, 12.9 WiFi - for traveling get 11 inch with cellular. Get at least 256gb storage to future proofed in my opinion. iCloud streaming is good, but sometimes the internet is not available and having things stored locally is super.

This replaced my 2018 unit with all of the same specs. I really didn't have a need for the new one but I wanted to take advantage of the new features that come with the M1 chip. I have not been able to use these new features yet but will later in the year. After switching to this iPad I have been able to leave my computer at home and only use this for work. I use the Microsoft suite of products and this functions perfectly. There is no need to haul around a larger laptop. I have not had a real need outside of what the iPad can do. I just hope that when they release the new version I will not want/need any of the functions of that one. But I do know that the resale value of these hold up well and would not lose that much money if I choose to upgrade.
