If you want something light and pretty, this is a good option. But with the price tag, this is a luxury item, you can find other cheaper options, even a regular ipad, that can do the same things. I personally wouldve been better off getting a simple webcam or the most, a newer laptop. i really only needed it for distance learning/teaching. This ipad did help, to a point, but when it came down to actually teaching, I could not. I was dependent on microsoft teams which doesnt allow audio to be shared from the ipad...so really thats on microsoft but still, major inconvenience... so why did i not return it? Well it has many other uses that ultimately did benefit me; its lighter than a laptop and i can easily get to things quickly on it(emails, research, virtual meetings, etc) i can also read books and magazines on a large screen, i can draw and take notes (using my logitec pencil). It is not a laptop replacer, not at all, more of a big phone/electronic notebook. A VERY expensive one. In total with the case, glass screen protector and logitech pencil it came to about $200 for these accessories, keep in mind these were the cheapest options i found. Just another thing to keep in mind before you buy.

The latest iPad Pro is the first Apple product to really blur the lines between their MacBook line and the iPad. With the latest iPadOS 14, even more laptop-like functionality is being introduced and it’s only going to get better from here. With the Magic Keyboard and a USBC hub, this is all I need from now on. This iPad benchmarks higher and faster than my 2018 Mac Mini which is crazy. The screen is unbelievable. Viewing photos almost has a 3D quality because you can see so much detail with perfect color reproduction. Love it!

I love everything about this iPad! It’s so nice and big so that I feel like I’m writing on a full size piece of paper and I love how fast it is. I also really like the resolution, even with a matte screen protector on it. I got this with the student discount so it was practically a steal. It functions perfectly for what I need it for, and if you’re not a person who has to have the latest version, then this one is more than enough to do everything you want it to.

I love my IPad Pro. The size is perfect for work (I do marketing and editing). It's perfect for when I'm traveling and want to watch Netflix and don't want to look at my small phone screen. The sound quality is amazing! If you're wanting an iPad and not sure which version to get, I defiantly think it's worth the money to get the Pro. I had the smaller verson before and I am so happy I upgraded.

The new iPad Pro is too good for its operating system. An absolute hardware tour de force, this $1,099, 12.9-inch tablet is gorgeously built, with power to match the latest Apple laptops, the finest screen we've ever seen on a slate, and connectivity options that the latest MacBooks can't touch. But iPadOS can't take advantage of the new power under the hood, which means the $599-and-up iPad Air is still our Editors' Choice winner for Apple tablets.

Although I don’t recommend an iPad to replace your laptop, it has no competition for on-the-go stuff: email, web browsing, entertainment. Size is big but believe me you won’t like any other tablet once you try this one. Videos are incredibly great to watch and sound has no comparison. One of my best tech purchases ever. I know the newer model is about to release but it would have costed me around 200$ more and don’t think it was going be much of a difference.

So I got this so I could write on the go. So far it’s proved wonderful for that. While it runs full office, many of the other writing apps are lightweight versions which are good for focus without the distractions of extra features. Is it right for you? Depends on the use case. It is expensive compared to a regular iPad Air and offers little extra functionality aside from extra screen real estate, ram for opening more tabs and speed on some items. For me, the extra real estate was worth it as I write.

This isn’t my first iPad, but I’m really impressed with this newest version. The smaller bezels make the total dimensions smaller than the older version with a Touch ID button. Love the Face ID function and speed to unlock the device. The display is really great. Can easily watch movies on this device. I purchased the 128G version, but with cloud storage this isn’t an issue. Battery life is really good too.

Ive had an old MacBook for a few years now and needed something a bit faster and a lot lighter. My fiancé bought me this so I could have something versatile to use for my new volunteer work; I couldn’t be happier with this gift! It’s super fast and the I bought a keypad that acts as a stand as well and all I have to say is if you’re considering between a laptop or a new pro, you’re better off with this, does most of what you need for the same price or less.

Almost went with the 11". I'm glad I splurged a bit and went with the 12.9. Awesome device. Works great with iPad Pro. Apple does make the best tablets and laptops although I still like the Samsung phones better. No issues with tablet. I never thought I would use face recognition but it works great whether I am wearing glasses or not. It is nice to not have to put in the pin. A bit overpriced in my opinion but "you get what you pay for".
