iPad Pro is amazing (stop your search here!)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing device, had the 3rd gen iPad Pro and 2018 MacBook pro and never ended up using the MacBook because of the capabilities of the iPad Pro. Upgraded from the 3rd gen to the most recent 4th gen pro and it is easily the fastest, most amazing device I have owned. The new levitating (back-lit) keyboard is a massive improvement as well. 10/10 recommend!

A virtual teachers life saver.

I wanted the largest one so I could grade assignments and tests like I would on paper. I will also be using it to develop virtual lessons where I can talk as I write/fill in worksheets. (bought the 2nd generation pen too) I have a fourth generation IPad, so getting used to this much larger one will take some time.

I can take notes and sketch and keep records of references and other school things all in one place. Not a laptop replacer but a really good addition to help lessen the amount of school supplies I need to bring.

Almost free of laptop tyranny

It is a handful though so if you value easy portability maybe the smaller option? Mainly, the switch to pen & tablet is terrific. The tablet easily handles my 40Mb RAW files, but it’s the tactile fun of drawing adjustments that is the game-changer. I have no complaints about the tablet’s performance besides the fact that its WiFi reception is slightly worse than my iPad Mini. Charge lasts a Covid-lockdown day. The real problem is that iOS keeps you chained to wimpy mobile versions of even apps like MS Word, and that can prevent you from being able to do “finished” work. Mobile LR/PS suffer in comparison to desktop as well, but if you’re mainly creating for digital platforms they work well enough.

It was expensive for an ipad, doesnt have the fastest iPad chip, that would be the new air, which is cheaper and faster. The pro, does have better camera sensors, different sensors, and a better pixel density and mhz display. So, its a nice ipad, just for a rack I wanted the fastest option, oh well.

Great color display

Greta for streaming and other online functions. Fairly easy to use, just wish it still had the "home"' button. Also, not very easy to stream through my Apple TV. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.
