Worth the wait, Buy to last
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the iPad to get if you dont want to upgrade year after year. Very High powered, only held back by iPad OS, not hardware, which they should continue to open up to developers to take advantage of. I've watched videos or zoom and the battery still stays around 90% so battery life is amazing. I will say however they advertise XDR quality screen...the screen really isn't that much better than the 11. So If you want to buy it because of its screen, just note its still a amazing screen, but the differences between it and the 11 inch M1 iPad are only noticeable if you really really start to look for them. Otherwise its just a bigger screen.

iPad 12.9
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s insane. Love the size especially when drawing. Also I haven’t experienced any lag time either. Fits great in any backpack or sling bag 5.11 Moab 10. Great buy. No regrets.

Love this iPad
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this iPad. It's large to carry traveling but well worth the effort. I'd suggest using a screen protector. I also use the Apple Pencil 2nd gen with it. Makes drawing so nice.

Beautiful and amazing deal
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m thoroughly impressed with this device. The display is beautiful and bright, with a battery life to support it… and FINALLY I understand what Apple was trying to do with Stage Manager. Paired with a MacBook or Magic Keyboard it makes it even better. I’ve also been using it as a second display for working from home and it’s compact enough that I can pretty much be anywhere and make myself twice as productive. It doesn’t hurt that I got it with a deep discount after the M2s came out. :)

Pretty great device…
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really nothing to complain about…Yes the new M1 is FAST and the options are endless with thunderbolt4….the speakers are amazing and the screen is beautiful…my only gripe is the battery life…granted..it’s pretty good for all the hardware…but it could be better…but it does charge really fast..so overall, would I buy it again? Yes…already ordered another for my son. Your gonna love it!

So Glad I Upgraded!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first bought an iPad Mini two years ago, the bought two regular iPads in a row a 9.7" that I traded in for a 10.2"... they made my mini seem so small... NOW that I have the big boy 12.9" iPad Pro, my iPad 10.2 seems MINI to me. Add on to that the power of the M1 chip, and I don't know how I lived without this for so long. Very happy with my purchase and I can tell you, you'll love the size and the screen is amazing! I also picked up an Apple Pencil and a Bluetooth Keyboard and can take this and leave my Macbook home for most days I'm on the go.

Galore of hardware upgrades with nothing to show.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The newest edition of iPad Pro went all out on hardware upgrades. We have new super bright miniLED screen, powerful M1 chip, Thunedrbolt port, 8/16GB of RAM and multiple other improvements. Apple however complete neglected iPadOS and we still have OS that was suited for simple cheap tablets and that completely negates all hardware improvements. Case in point: new Thunderbolt port only manages 5gbps data transfer speed (regular Thunderbolt ports on any other device can go up to 40gbps). It also can not extend display when connected to external monitors. So what is the point of this upgrade, beyond marketing point? Same goes for RAM. New ipad comes equipped with up to 16GB of RAM yet any app can only access 5GB or less. So powerful apps that need as much RAM as possible (video, photo editing) are hampered and your big expensive RAM goes to waste. Another misfire is new powerful M1 chip, that Apple made so much fuss of. It shows great in the synthetic benchmarks, but because apps can not take full advantage of it in iPadOS, the actual performance is about the same as in 3 year old 2018 iPad Pro. Of course, Apple forgets to mention it in all their ads for the new ipad. Finally we have new super bright, super contrasty display with HDR support. This display, while looking great is still half-baked by Apple. They were not able to code good background lighting and this results in the much discussed blooming, I.e. bright halos around white objects on the dark background. Frankly, if any TV manufacturer would release a TV set with such blooming, it would be rightfully called out by any TV reviewer. Yet, if this is released by Apple, all is good.

Awesome Graphics
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love the big bright screen! Major upgrade from my old Ipad Air, much faster, and easy on the eyes. Its a bit heavier but worth it in my opinion.

The best iPad there is... Not a laptop replacement
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this with the intention of replacing my laptop and 2018 iPad Pro and for that, it didn't work as well as I would have hoped. It's a great machine. It's fast, screen is great, battery life is decent but it's not a laptop replacement, at least not for me. I wound up returning it and getting the M1 MacBook Air and have been much happier. iPad OS still doesn't handle misc files very well, its very easy to lose track of multiple windows in safari, using it with a keyboard case is a multi-step process every time you want to use it as opposed to a laptop which is one step, and (a more niche point here) there's still no video editing app that can handle ProRes let alone any raw codecs which means for a video professional, this can't be a portable editing machine, which is a shame considering how nice of a screen it's got. If you're looking for the best/most powerful iPad, this is definitely that. If you're looking for a laptop replacement, you may want to look elsewhere.

Quality
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loves this iPad!! You can use it for basically anything. I have my own personal computer, but ever since I bought this item, I basically have no use for it. Whatever you need to do on a computer, you can do on this iPad. The touchscreen and filling in documents with the apple pen is one of the main differences. So I would recommend getting the pen as you can sign things quicker and keep it saved into your files once you are done.

Love the large screen!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love almost everything about this 12.9’ iPad Pro. I can see it so much better than my iPad Air. The only thing I don’t like is the weight. I don’t carry it around so it really doesn’t matter. I was fortunate to buy an open box excellent. I also bought my pencil in an open box excellent and it was perfect too. I trust Best Buy, however I can’t say the same for others. Now if I could only adjust to the new 45mm watch; it seems so much larger than my series 3 42mm.

Nice screen size
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My dads iPad crashed. So I bought me a new one and gave him mine. It was only 2 years old. Love the new iPad. Nice size screen. The battery only holds a charge for the day. The price is a bit much.

Great Upgrade from 2020 11” iPad Pro
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After being indecisive about upgrading from my 2020 11” iPad Pro to a 12.9”, I am glad I made the leap! I was concerned about the larger iPad being heavier, since I use it as my “mobile” device. While there is a slight difference in weight between the two iPads, the benefits of a larger and brighter screen, on the 12.9”, outweighs the con of being heavier. So, if you’re “sitting on the fence” about sacrificing a larger screen size for a lighter mobile device, give this iPad a try; I don’t think you’ll regret it!
