After comparing the iPad, Surface and Cintiq for a drawing tablet I decided with the large array of apps for the iPad and I tried this out first and never changed. Battery life is amazing, screen brightness, size and weight fits just right for drawing. Now I am only recommending this for individuals using the iPad with the Apple Pencil not for a standard iPad. If your looking for something to play games and watch YouTube or Netflix just buy the cheaper iPad Air and save some cash. Over all impressions are simple, I love it for what it is to me and that a drawing tablet and occasional YouTube watcher.

I have an old small screen iPad for 5 years or more. It works wonderful. My laptop died so I decided to replace it and could not decide whether to get another laptop or the new iPad Pro. I bought the iPad Pro and couldn't be happier with it. The screen is as big as the laptop screen and the ease of using it and all its features are wonderful. The sound is fantastic it has four speakers. By the way I'm dictating this and have not had to edit anything. This iPad is just the best there is.

A large screen iPad with four surround sound speakers, Logi CREATE keyboard that doubles as a security case, 128GBs of space and Office 365 makes this the ultimate laptop if not replaces ANY laptop for an incredible experience! Every time I open it I get a little giddy and it is so interactive you can't even come close with any other products. At first I was weary but now I don't know how I survived so long without it!! Does EVERYTHING for almost half the price! You will not be disappointed!

My new ipad is easy to use, have a great picture, very good sound ! It is almost like a laptop.

We had one of the originals and this one is faster, lighter and bigger. Family really likes it!

I came from an Xperia z4 tablet to this. I like the form factor better and love reading/surfing the net with this bohemeth! A little unwieldy, but you can't expect any smaller obviously due to the screen size.

I am thoroughly enjoying the iPad Pro. It is super fast and easy to use. The screen is larger than my first iPad which makes it easier to read and use. Best Buy had this iPad in stock. The Apple Store did not.

I bought this iPad for the larger screen size, and I was a little worried that it would be too heavy, especially for longer periods of use. I am pleased to report that it's extremely lightweight even including a case, and is a delight to use. LOVE the larger screen!

Highly recommend the iPad Pro. Easy to use. Huge screen, which is easy to ready and navigate. Lightweight and portable. Only negative is I keep trying to buy the iPad Pro Keyboard, and it is always sold out.

I love my iPad Pro. I've been waiting to get a tablet for some time now and when they announced the Pro I knew it was the one that I wanted. I ordered it from Best Buy the day it came out and chose in store pickup because I didn't want to wait for it. I got it that night and I've used to everyday since i purchased it. It's great for everything. It's size is large but it's still not bad to use with two hands. Great picture for watching Netflix, HBO Go, anything. I look forward to purchasing the keyboard and using it as an everyday computer. I think that it will still work very well for that as well.

I know there were complaints about the iPad. I did have to reboot a few times. I never used the cloud to set it up, I just connected it to my computer. The iPad is amazing. It's like having a Mac Pro but you can touch the screen. I love the size. The speed is great.

The larger size and ability to split the screen to work on two apps at the same time is useful. Fast. New IOS allowing the opening of programs from the side panel also makes working with this iPad faster.

I had this iPad about month now. Love it. Got great screen size. Fast processor. I used mostly for multimedia consumption. Only gripe is I bought Targus case don't really like it but that's the only thing they had planning to buy otterbox defender this week.

I travel a lot and the bigger screen makes it better t watch movies and downloaded material. Also the faster processer is very helpful when searching websites

The iPad Pro is big with it's almost 13 inch screen. The graphics are beautiful and with 4 speakers the sound is awesome. With 4 speakers watching movies or listening to music is totally a much better experience than even the iPad Air 2. Love the iPad Pro!!!

It is important to realize that I did my research before I purchased this device, and I bought this iPad Pro as an iPad 3rd gen replacement. I purchased this device without the intention to replace my laptop. This device has an awesome battery life I consistently get over ten hours watching Netflix, taking notes in class, and and searching the Internet. I have two lectures I sit through on Monday afternoon that last over six hours (taking notes the whole time) at the end of the class my iPad battery is at 60%. This thing is powerful, efficient, durable, well built, and resonably light (this tablet weighs the same as my iPad 3rd gen so the weight was of no concern to me because I am used to it). Now to the downside you need to have a keyboard if you type a reasonable amount of 5 minutes a day or more as it speeds up your typing time and it allows you to use more of the screen. The keyboard I would recommend is a Zagg slim book pro for the iPad Pro. The second accessory you should get but it is not needed is an Apple Pencil which is amazing but look at the reviews on it. The Apple Pencil is a must if you truly want to unlock the full experience on the iPad Pro. This iPad will replace your laptop if all you do is word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook, searching the web and you use the cloud. It is important to note you cannot run the word windows at the same time like you can on a PC, and that the Microsoft software is not a full PC version. If you are like me and you do far more on your computer than this will not replace your computer! However since I have been at college this does 95% of the stuff I need to do on my computer so I use my computer on average once a week for a few minutes here and there when I cannot do something on the iPad. However you can so some stuff on this tablet that you could never easily do on a PC, things like filling in PDFs, writing you name on PDFs, easily doing edits and writing on things in programs with the Apple Pencil and many other things. One thing I heard consistently before I bought this was its to big and its heavy, if this is something you worried about go to a Best Buy or an Apple Store and try it out and use the Apple Pencil with it. I carry this in a backpack so these things have never bothered me, however, with my Zagg keyboard which is detachable it weighs aroun 3-4 pounds. I would recommend that everyone should go try it out before they decide to purchase this device.

writing this review after having this device for a month. Upon purchasing the 12.9 pro, I researched for over a month and I originally purchased the 9.7 pro when it launched. Ended up returning the 9.7 to get the 12.9 pro. Initially, my biggest hesitation about purchasing the 12.9 was it's size. It's new, unfamiliar and makes it awkward when you're looking at it in the store. However, after taking it home and using it, you easily become adjusted. After 1 day of use, the 9.7 form factor seemed...small. In terms of "who is this for?", anyone who loves using an ipad. Adding a pencil and keyboard allows it be catered for other needs. As a consumption device, this is amazing. As a productivity device, it can get the job done with simple tasks like email, and drafting up documents. In my opinion, if both the 9.7 pro and 12.9 pro are the same price (you can find it on sale and Best Buy is awesome with price matching), 12.9 is a clear winner. I use mine along side my 6s Plus.

Very fast, beautiful screen, extra large real estate because of screen size makes ready magazines and books a pleasure. Great using it with the Apple Pencil. If you are thinking about upgrading or buying a new iPad, buy this one, you will not regret it.

I upgraded from an iPad 4th generation to the iPad pro. Night and day difference between the two... Screen size and resolution, processor speed in running apps and new capabilities in the iOS - split screen, PIP and full onscreen keyboard. LOVE IT!
