The new IPad pro delivers with its strength in allowing for the professional look to all your work. Teamed with the pencil and new apps illistration seems limitless. And with an easily attached keyboard I find no need for a lap top or notebook. Both its work and play combination make it a favorite!

I bought this unit for my wife who has owned an iPad for years and she's thrilled. The processor is fast, the screen is gorgeous, the 4 speaker sound system is surprising and, with 128 gigs of memory, she'll be able to carry her music library, her photos and any number of movies with her wherever she goes. It's certainly overpriced. But it's arguably the "best in class".

This is my first iPad purchase just for me. My son has an iPad which we updated to an iPad Mini (perfect for a 5 year old) and my wife has the iPad Air2. I wanted something slightly bigger (old eyes). I do not mid the weight and it is perfect for all of my uses. I take it to class and make notes (with the cover/keyboard that I purchased with it - see my other review), and I use it for Facebook and games when I am at home. It is the perfect all around tool. It seamlessly interconnects with my iPhone for perfect functionality!

I love my new iPad. I had traded my older iPad in a few years ago for a tablet and I never felt the same. When the new iPad came out I decided it was time to go back and I must say...I am not disappointed. Now, I can't give you a "tech" review because that's not my specialty. But I love the large screen, it takes awesome pictures, it's very fast and I enjoy watching my movies and playing my games. I don't have to carry my laptop everywhere anymore because my iPad does everything I need my laptop to do when I'm on the go.

I have essentially replaced my laptop with the iPad Pro. I do use Excel a lot and pivot tables doesn't work with Apple Products yet -but Microsoft is working on this issue. This said, with the size of the screen, iPad Pro works great in place of laptop. Definitely need to have the Logi keyboard though. Great product extremely fast - well worth the money

Love the screen size, beautiful display and still very easy to hold. The Apple silicone case is great. I use it for reading and browsing mostly but great for watching videos and multitasking with split view and slide over. Haven't got the pencil or the keyboard yet but plan on it

Screen size places the IPad Pro into the laptop class yet retains the uniqueness of the Apple IPad. Watching a Netflix movie is a great experience. Speed and responsiveness is outstanding. Using with an Omoton wireless Bluetooth keyboard rounds out capability of my IPad Pro.

I travel a lot and my iPad pro has been of excellent use to me be it work or play! I love the large screen, the speed and the battery life (better than most other tablets) I also love the speakers in it. Great product!

This device is awesome! I was skeptical about purchasing it when the rumors started surfacing almost 4 years ago, but when I saw it released last September that all changed! I waited a few months to purchase actually until the right sale. I'm glad I waited! Plus adding in the Apple Pencil completely transforms the device. Everyone should get one!

The size is great, it is easy to use and it is lightweight. The battery is great, and holds the charge for a very long time. I researched all the options, and felt this was the best model.....and it is!! Thanks, Pete

I love the iPad. After 5 years I decided to get the newest model the Pro. My favorite improvement is the addition of two more speakers. This almost makes up for Apple putting them on the side of the machine. The sound is fantastic. For older eyes like mine, the bigger screen is great because I'm not constantly enlarging the screen to read pages.

I don't notice a whole lot of functional differences between this and the previous Ipad. You can open two apps at once but it is more like a sidebar column for the 2nd app and you'll just end up more often than using one app at a time as you always have. I haven't used the 3d touch for anything yet and in my normal usage of primarily web surfing, one note, and email everything functions the same as it always has so I don't know how 3d touch influnces those who don't draw on their iPad. Where you notice the difference of course is how much nicer it is to read and watch video on a screen of this size and sharpness. Also the audio is a much richer experience. Of course there isn't any bass and I didn't expect it from an iPad but the clarity of the mid-range/treble at volumes much higher than before will delight you as a music player too. I find watching music videos on youtube much more enjoyable. It isn't a laptop replacement simply because file management and switching between apps using the same files is still a royal pain but you can get by when you need to. The camera is hard to use on something this big and in my opinion takes washed out pictures. Buy it to watch, read and listen primarily.

Faster, Lighter, and better display from previous versions.

I had been waiting for this big iPad for a long time. I bought mine on Nov 11 the day it was released. I like having the big screen for reading and games and YouTube. I also got the Logitech lighted keyboard. The apple keyboard stinks. It is still kind of big for using in bed and kind of heavy with the keyboard. But sitting in a comfy chair, on my lap is great! The update to 9.2 stopped the crashing from the end of a charge, thank god they finally fixed that. I still use my smaller iPad when I'm relaxing in bed. It's great to have both and the iPhone 6plus. Bigger is better for this old man! It is literally a great lap machine.

I have previous iPads which I loved so I thought I would upgrade to this HUGE thing. Wanted something larger but still portable for things like watching videos on the go. Does that great. Probably too big for the times you want something smaller but nothing is perfect. Happy with this as it serves the purposes I got it for.

Pros Fast. Top-notch Pencil stylus and keyboard accessories. Loud speakers. Great-looking screen. Cons Expensive. iOS apps fall short of Mac and Windows apps in traditional business functionality.

When technology is pushing things to become smaller, the larger size of the pad is refreshing. I have large fingers and typing on the virtual keyboard is much easier. It still can't fully replace my laptop, but if I need something super portable and not running complex programming, this fits the bill. It's an iPad on steroids, in a good way. Noticeably, watching movies is more mesmerizing. The camera is average and won't replace a real camera. Dark environments are not very sharp. Daylight scenes are phone equivalent. Did I mention the very nice screen? Pricey, but if you can afford it, you won't be disappointed.

I gave up waiting for Samsung to refresh its Note Pro series of tablets. I fell in love with the beautiful screen of the iPad Pro. I bought the 128Gb 12.9 inch IPad Pro at a large discount due to it being a demo model. It is awesome! I have paired it with a Logitech AnyAngle Cover. If you are not typing a lot, I recommend this cover. It works wonderful for drawing, watching videos and playing games (it has 60 degrees of flexibility for different viewing angles). It covers/protects the entire tablet and has a wake/sleep function. The iOS system is heavily restricted so there's that to impede customizing the software interface/user experience. In addition, iPad compatible apps cost more, but they are beautiful! I play games, watch Netflix and draw on my tablet. I have smaller tablets that are less conspicuous for use in public but at home or in the office I prefer the larger screen. What will hurt most purchasers is that in the Apple universe everything seems to be an accessory and not included so you'll spend money on an endless array of options that improve your experience. For example, I mostly use my tablet at home at a desk (drawing or watching Netflix), plugged into an outlet so it's always fully charged. It takes 4-5 hrs to fully charge the device. Now, multiple reports are stating if I pay an extra $74--$84 dollars I can use a 29W usb-c power adapter that can charge the device in 2.5 hrs. Is it worth it? Likewise, I have keyboards for other tablets and just don't use them. I use a laptop if I need to type a document. The display resolution, processing speed and audio are superb on the iPad Pro. IMHO these tablets will not replace the laptop experience due to a lack of file system, although cloud storage does make sharing/storing projects much easier, now. I now have an Android tablet, a Windows tablet and an Apple tablet. Each has its strengths and weaknesses. I can state with confidence that Apple has created a solid entertainment device. I agree that the iPad Pro can be a productive device. . . but that will involve purchasing adapters, a keyboard, dongles, doohickeys and whatnots that tether what original started as a portable device to a desk. My primary purpose is to play/relax with my iPad pro. I have installed note-taking apps and will soon decide if it's worthwhile to use the device actively in my professional life.

At first, I thought it was going to be too heavy compared to my air. But after using it for a few days, I Have adjusted to it quickly. It's very fast and the size of the screen is great for my eyes.
