Customers value the large screen size and ease of use of the 12.9-Inch iPad Pro (3rd generation). They also appreciate the performance, camera quality, lightweight design, and long battery life. However, some customers find the price to be high and express concerns about the lack of a home button and the limitations of the USB-C port. Great tablet

Had this for about a year and it continues to be an awesome laptop replacement. Image is beautiful, and apps run smoothly. It's not the lightest ipad but my reason for getting this is that the larger screen is very easy on the eye when it is placed at few feet away. Great battery life, good camera, nothing to complain about even after a year. Of course there are cheaper tablets with better screens, but they don't have the apple pen.

I'm really not a big app user, but I do draw a lot and that is the main function of this thing for me. As a drawing tablet, I absolutely love it. The feeling of drawing with the pencil is totally natural, the palm-rejection is near-perfect, and it's portable so I can draw anywhere! The battery lasts plenty long and the display is gorgeous.

Outstanding Tablet for Watching TV

We purchased the tablet for watching TV shows and movies on our screened in porch. It works perfectly! The picture and sound are great! The battery charges very quickly and lasts for hours. This is a great solution for being able to have a TV for the "outside" porch. When not using, it is so easy to just take inside. It is out portable TV. Very happy with the purchase!
Obviously, the tablet is also great for email and all the other features. Our main purpose was for media.

It’s perfect for what I need. I bought it for school and it just checks off all the boxes. I can easily take notes on it, both typing and writing, and the dual screen feature makes it easy to search things while still working on another document. The screen picture is great too and the sound awesome.

I purchased this 12.9 inch iPad Pro as a replacement for a previous generation 11 inch. The device is spectacular in terms of screen and sound quality. I have been learning to use the Apple Pencil 2nd generation with it and find the note taking handy and intuitive. The magnetic side attachment and charging for the Pencil couldn't be easier. Given the price I'd plan to purchase a good case and screen protector too.

Originally went with a fancy laptop but noticed fast it wasn’t as fast or pretty as the new iPad Pro. The screen resolution is gorgeous and the speed is very good. Battery power last multiple days and I haven’t had a problem yet. Very easy to set up, and with this device being easy to move and bring everywhere you go ide be wrong not to give it 5 stars. Highly recommend getting this product it’s worth every penny.

Amazing upgrade over the standard iPad

This is my third iPad, and I can't possibly write anything that does justice to how much of an upgrade this is from my old iPad Air. The size increase, the reduced bezel, the amazing visual experience and lightning fast speed. It was a lot to swallow what this costs, for sure it was a choice between a new really nice laptop (or even a decent desktop) or a tablet. I happen to have a gaming desktop that does everything I need for sit-down computing, but forever my tablet has been for lounging around, a vehicle to check email, read news sites, play some games or follow sports through various apps. Most importantly, and most nights, I relax and watch whatever- youtube videos, subscriptions to streaming sites like Netflix or Amazon prime, Youtube TV now (we are cable cutters), or my Plex Media server with over 600 titles and as many TV episodes of various shows. This thing is like owning an 80 inch TV when sitting in bed with it propped on my chest, using wireless earpods for audio. It is such an amazing and immersive experience for that alone, it was worth the fiscal leap. You can get similar experiences for somehwat less I'm sure, but over the years with many iPad generations being handed down to my kids, I have a decent amount of money invested in the iStore between apps, songs, etc. This is where i was staying, and this iPad is truly the king of tablets.

I upgraded from the previous generation first for the new screen and the second generation pencil. I'm very happy about the performance while editing raw images and some videos. Now I'm waiting for the next iOS version to see if they will easy the system to make the workflow more open and fluid. The limitations of connecting external ssd drives and filders structure is a must at this point.

Happy wife... happy life

Well I bought this item for my wife as a birthday present. Needless to say, she is extremely happy with it. The screen is ultra sharp and the item has enough storage for her to keep all of her pictures, music, etc all in the same location.
The new processor is also extremely fast. Websites pop up really quick and her applications run a lot faster than the previous version.
Finally is the size. It is as large as a laptop and now she uses it 99% of the time and has no need for that laptop any longer.
I suggest also purchasing the keyboard/cover to make this item fully 'laptop' replaceable.
She is very happy and now so am I. I hit it out of park with this years birthday present!

I've had my new iPad for a couple of months and I love it! It was a huge upgrade from my second generation one! I love the pencil feature, the speed is incredible and the screen size is awesome! I'm glad that I bought the larger screen size. Battery life is great too! I haven’t found any negatives yet!
I bought the keyboard / magnetic case for it and was so worth it!!

It is the best iPad ever, very Fast and Light and I can tell you that I use my iPad Pro More than I use my iMac Pro. I also have a Dell Laptop which I no longer use because of the ease of use and the Speed of my iPad Pro. I also Purchased the Apple Case and Keyboard which turns my iPad Pro Into a Laptop. You will never need another Laptop if you get your iPad Pro.

I was one of the first to get the original iPad. It was great for what it was, but didn't offer me the complete laptop replacement I was looking for. I debated for a full year before I went back into the iPad space because I work on Windows for various aspects of my career that it was hard to break away. After discussing their experiences with some friends and colleagues, I have to say that the experience is by far the best I had in a long time. The speed on this device is great and I've been able to download apps that allow me to continue working on code development even when I'm not on a Windows PC.
I do have to say, that I am one of the few that also has a Windows AWS workspace, so whatever this lacks, I quickly can log into my AWS workspace to complete. The size of the screen allows me to multitask and is great when I just want to watch movies.
The glare still is an issue, but I'm so used to that because I've been a customer of Apple products since the beginning that I've gone to other competing tablet devices for my reading needs.
I also purchased the pen, but find that I don't use it often. For those that are thinking about the pen option, wait until you get the iPad and use it for a while first before buying one.
I also did not purchase the Apple folio keyboard and went with the Logitech one because of brand recognition and reviews around keyboard layout for those with larger fingers.
Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and I have completely replaced lugging my laptop around. So for those considering a laptop replacement, think hard about what you do while mobile and decide whether this is an opportunity to break away from your normal routine and go with the iPad Pro.

I absolutely love this iPad. I have always been a computer person, but since I got this product my workflow has changed for the better. I use this iPad every day to write notes, read books, watch movies, etc. I have even used it to give a lecture on campus. The screen display is gorgeous and I prefer watching movies and TV series here than in my computer screen. Owning this iPad and using it to take notes has convinced me on going paperless, since writing with a new Apple Pencil feels great, even better than writing with pencil and paper in my opinion. This is the first Apple product that I own and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the apps that are available. The battery life for this device is really good, lasting over a day of frequent use. The performance is excellent, it has never frozen, lagged, restarted, or glitched in over a month of daily use. I recommend this product if you are looking for something reliable to take notes digitally and consume media like books and videos on the go.

So not only does it have the best sized screen, but because of that larger screen, they were able to put in bigger speakers too. I did a live recording on my iphone and played it back on this ipad and the true sound of the very loud train plays wonderfully on the ipad. I love all the things I can do with the ipad too. It's super fast, and with the new IOS 13, I can use USB-C adapters to connect all sorts of devices to the ipad and expand the ideals of what Ipad used to be. I can copy documents from my PC to a USB thumb drive, and then connect the USB stick to the ipad with an adapter and copy the files to the ipad. I have connected a mouse to the ipad too, and enjoy that laptop like feeling using a mouse. I use the pencil more than the mouse, and card games play better with a finger anyway. The higher refresh rate of the ipad is superior to all other tablets I have compared to it. I researched Android tablets for two year before just settling on an ipad, and I am so happy I went Ipad over Android. It syncs well with my iphone, apple watch and all other accessories. I am not a Mac person, but I do love all the iOS devices I have. Some days though, it sucks that it weighs extra.

I really enjoy this iPad. I am still learning all the things you can do with it. The screen colors and quality are top notch. It keeps its charge for a long time and the sound quality is great too. I wish it has a USB port to it, but there is an attachment that I bought to use with it.

Have had it for 6 weeks and so far no issues.
Great processor, light weight for its dimensions, vibrant colors and looks great.
Touch is very responsive. Getting the pencil is a must for their Procreate app. Wish price was not so expensive but if it lasts as long as my other ipads, it will be worth it since it’s been fun using it.

I had the old 12.9 and thought it was a bit too big so I was excited to grab this. I still feel like it’s a bit too big for a tablet but to each his own. The machine is incredible, especially when paired with the pencil and some AirPods! The picture is so clear and to lack of home button makes this the cleanest looking tablet out there!

Purchased this and Apple’s keyboard case primarily for a long trip for which my 15” Macbook Pro would be too heavy.
The screen is beautiful, sharp, crisp, perfectly calibrated. I can have trouble looking at computer screens - migraines - with this I have no need to worry.
The 12.9” screen size, esp. with iOS 12, is a near-perfect size of my needs. I’m a film but and subscribe to the Criterion Channel. I do not feel guilty watching those wonderful movies on this screen. Sound is good. For films, I wish it were fuller. I’m happy with it for classical and other music on the go.
File management is better, and the screen-size helps, but the Files app leaves so much lacking and is terrible slow to use when managing hundreds of documents as I do. Column View is unusually 3-4 folders in because the font size is too large to display much of title times, and the columns cannot be resized. Google Drive works but isn’t ideal. I use PDF Expert 6 for PDF management and am worried for when the OS no longer supports it. I pay Adobe hundreds of dollars for an Acrobat Subscription, and though the app’s improved a bit, it still permits no editing, no OCR, no document comparison — a huge pain away from home – but I will and can’t pay both Adobe and Readdle subscriptions fees for their iOS apps.
I enjoy typing using Apple’s keyboard case and that it protects front and back. It’s of poor quality for such an expensive product, however. The keys begin to wear quickly. The case is protective, but the iPad is still easily dentable. I somehow dented one of the edges, and may use AppleCare and Insurance to fix it to keep the product’s value. I dread visiting our local Apple Store, however. Their sales team has taken advantage of my elderly parents, attempts to up-sell when unneeded, deleted all of my Mom’s iPhone files, and finally gave up — helping both her and my father on problems that I, after a long time, figured out. The products are good, but I feel uncomfortable purchasing from this company any longer. Apple has lost my trust. But it’s products are still excellent.
Continuity works near perfectly with my iPhone 6s+, Watch 5, and AirPods 2. I need to answer phone calls anywhere. I can, including eight his iPad, so long as my phone is relatively near.
