As a tv producer I use a lot of Apple products. The IPad Pro is a dream machine for mobile editing and pitching your sizzle reels. Sound & Picture get five stars. Only downfall is lack of support for pic based edit programs and file transfers.

I was really concerned about the size of the iPad Pro. I mainly purchased this solely for use with the Apple Pencil. I demoed the Apple Pencil and fell in love. I already had an iPad Air and felt it to be a great size—although for drawing, I always wanted more room. After using this for a few days, I went back to my iPad Air and it felt like an iPad Mini. I'm now selling my Air because it hasn't been used in a month. The only app that feels very odd as a full-screen app is Messages. The home screen can also feel a bit "jumbo" as well, but you get used to it. Anyone looking to draw on a tablet should get the iPad Pro without a doubt. Anyone looking to have a single work/personal tablet in one should get this. The only downside is the LTE version is the top-end model. That's the one I got, though and I'm glad I did.

I love this iPad. It is like having a laptop without the hassle of waiting for it to boot up. It is large enough to type on and not use a separate keyboard.

If you own an iPad Air or Air 2 and want something slightly bigger, then this is the device for you! It is very speedy and coming from an iPad Air 2, I can't quite tell the difference. I can definitely appreciate the sheer size of this device. I use my iPad primarily at the gym to watch netflix or VEVO on the Elliptical trainer and with the right case, you can prop it right up for your viewing pleasure. So this size is great! From a professional perspective, it's also a great device for artist! I just got the Pen and Keyboard so stay tuned for those reviews. But the Pencil is a must get for a sign artist like myself. Although there is a learning curve still to drawing letters on a iPad vs. my traditional ways of hand drawing on paper for my job. I think this is a great way to go green for artist while still giving you that creative outlet which is pretty cool in my book. **Here are the few detractors** PRICE: As someone who ALWAYS opts. for the WiFi + Cellular model, I am very disappointed apple didn't make it available on the 32GB model. What the heck am I going to do with 128GB? I already subscribe to all their cloud service offerings so everything streams. The good news here is I came across my iPad Pro in Portland Oregon and they had this in stock that that saved me on Tax which is the only perk via Best Buy. WEIGHT: Depending on where you're holding it, its not too bad...but laying down in bed is probably not the best because at 1.59lbs, dropping that on your face is probably not idea. Has yet to happen to me but it has with my iPhone 6+. My hand has cramped holding it with one hand for a long period of time on a few occasions. DO YOU NEED IT? Yes and no. If you're like me always wanting to keep up with the latest tech...and also an artist or design who wants to make use of the $99 pencil, I'd say go for it! Otherwise, you are fine with the iPad Air 1 or 2 if you currently own those. Although I am not going to lie, the 4 speakers and larger screen is something I forgot to mention and that's awesome when watching Netflix :). I'm really struggling with this but due to the high price of this device, I only rate it 3.5/4 stars. Adding Apple Care + the Smart Keyboard + the Pencil, you're looking at $1469+ tax depending on your state. Is this worth that? Realistically no. So Because of that, Apple get's 4 stars for this because it's simply not worth that price IMO. I would not recommend this to a friend either due to it's high cost to own.

I use the iPad Pro as a digital music reader, along with the apple pencil and a foot pedal page turner. I'm most concerned with the slow charging(4-5 hours from 0%-100% while not in use) I get and how quickly my battery depletes. In my experience I've used about 20% an hour while practicing or performing, using the ForScore app, on airplane mode, only using Bluetooth for the page turner/pencil. I've turned off background refresh for apps, got rid of the Facebook app (which was consuming the most power regardless of how much/little I used it, even with background refresh disabled) and reduced the brightness (which does help marginally, but makes reading more difficult) I'm hoping that a new lightning charging cable with support for the 29W charging brick will make charging much easier, and that a newer update can address power conservation for high power users. I regularly use my tablet 6-8 hours a day and would like to be untethered to a power source. The screen is amazing. Using the pencil for note-taking and annotations is effortless and there is no stylus out there that comes close to comparison. Reading magazines, webpages, kindle books and zinio magazines is a joy with the larger screen size. The speakers are definitely better than even MacBooks, 4 speakers makes for an immersive experience, and I don't often need full volume to get rich sound in all registers. The Apple keyboard is amazing, the stand is clunky, but the full size keyboard and responsiveness is incredible. Definitely check this out before 3rd party keyboards, you'll be impressed how sensitive the touch is. I'm not as enthused about multitasking, as several of the apps I use dont have support for it yet, but I hope the software developers will roll out with it soon. All in all I'm delighted by this device. It's not only a laptop replacement, but it's incredibly useful as a digital reader for music, and media consumption of all types. Fix the battery issues and it'd get 5 stars from me!

Ever since my first iPad 5 years ago I've wanted one with a bigger screen, and the new iPad Pro delivers! With the 128GB storage I can carry around my entire sheet music library, and the screen is crystal clear. The battery life has improved over the earlier iPads, so it will definitely last through a gig without needing to be plugged in. And the cellular capability makes it easy to download new music PDFs whenever I want, even if I'm not in range of wi-fi. This is my ideal tablet and I recommend it to musicians who are tired of lugging around piles of music books. With the Apple Pencil it's easy to markup scores in the ForScore app (that's the music reading app I use) so it's just like using a pencil on paper. I can't say enough great things about this -- the processing speed has improved so that even though I have over 6000 music PDF files, when I open ForScore it snaps right to my current piece and is ready for action. Even on my iPad4 it took quite a few seconds to be ready, but with this iPad Pro there's no wait at all.

I ordered the iPad Pro Wi-Fi+LTE through Best Buy November 11 and received it, in-store, November 16 (a day earlier than expected). I placed the order sight unseen and then worried for a week that it would be too large compared to the iPad 4 the Pro was to replace. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it. While the Pro's screen is large, its thin profile and light weight make it fill smaller in my hand than it actually is. The performance is leaps and bounds ahead of my iPad 4 and Touch ID is lightning fast when compared to the fingerprint sensor of my iPhone 6 Plus. I'm very happy with my purchase and glad Apple did not release an iPad Air 3 at the same time as I might have picked it over the Pro.

Since the first iPad was introduced n 2010, I've really wanted a larger screen and speakers that spanned the length of the device rather than having them on one end. This iPad fills it all. It's powerful, reasonably weighted, and more versatile than many think. It's also a great canvas for creative pursuits, whether you are a professional, or just a doodler like me. I've only been able to use the pencil in the store, but I do plan to get one. It works great. I highly recommend this tablet.

I own the iPad from the first gen. This is definitely the best iPad made. I don't even use my mac book pro or iMac. With the pencil and apple keyboard is definitely an excellent product. My school has free office 365 for their student and I'm able to use it on the iPad Pro and with the ability of being able to have to apps open at the same time I was able to write my 2500 word apa format paper in no time. Great job apple in making another great product. I still believe the price tag is a little in the high side.

I have owned numerous Apple devices over the years from the iPhone 3GS to the iPad3, but my new iPad Pro is by far the best of them. It is fantastic for reading the morning news or playing a late evening strategy game. Its new quad speaker setup sounds fantastic whether I am listening to Coldplay or watching a NetFlix movie. I enjoying using it for creating artwork as well (the screen size is just shy of an 8.5x11 sheet of paper) and plan on purchasing an Apple Pencil shortly -- although I have been using it with numerous other stylii with no issues. I was surprised that its palm rejection tech seems to work with other non-Apple brands, too. Overall, I have been exceptionally pleased with my purchase, especially the iPad Pro's battery life. With such a large screen size, I expected to have to charge it quite often, but that has not been the case, even when playing action games and such.

We have owned basically every iPad since the tablets were introduced by Apple. This is by far the best one and upgrade yet. The screen is spectacular and the weight is surprisingly light. The battery life has not been an issue and the device is much more responsive than our previous versions.

I swapped up from am iPad Air II and my, what an improvement. The screen is obviously larger, the quapity of photos and videos is truly amazing. The real benefit of the split-screen capability if far more obvious. I love the battery life, the computing power and the whole unit. Paired with their smart key board, this is a big winner.

Once you get this, everything else is miniature. Landscape view is really not necessary - you'll hold in portrait. Great display, fast, just awesome. But be aware it's huge!!! Using it in place of laptop and when I need a PC I log in using Remote Desktop app or Team Viewer which works great.

I have owned many variations of iPads since their release. I am finding that I have used this one more than any of the others I have owned. The size is great, the sound is the best of any iPad or MacBook I have owned. Using this with the Apple Pencil and Logitech Keyboard case really improves the experience and keeps fingerprint smudges off the screen. I use mine for work (managing and editing Excel and Word documents) as well as entertainment. iOS9 and the Microsoft Office Suite really help make this as close to a laptop replacement you will find from Apple.

I love to new screen size and the power of the A9 processor. LTE Connectivity is great but just remember if using VZW as your wireless provider that the included Apple SIM card will not work and will require one to obtain a nano sim card from Verizon. I have no complainants about this great IPAD and would recommend it to anyone wanting a larger screen size, faster processor and the option of using the Apple Pencil.

Too big as a tablet to hold and transport comfortably in the hand. Works better with the Logitech keyboard case which has backlit keys than the Apple keyboard does not have backlit keys. Logitech keyboard also provides 360 protection. which the Apple keyboard case does not. Big and large as a laptop when used with Logitech keyboard case. Macbook Air, MacBook, Lenovo X1 Carbon, all are smaller, lighter, with a better typing experience. The Lenovo Yoga is similar in weight when this is combined with the Logitech keyboard case, and maybe even smaller in size/footprint!' Charges slow. Many apps are scaled. Most keyboard shortcuts from desktop versions of apps do not work and require you to take your hand off the keyboard and tap the screen. Now the good. Excellent screen. Excellent audio with one of the best audio experiences of any tablet/laptop. Great for consuming media, and all day battery life. For the right person, for the right task, this can be exxcellent. For all others, having a small tablet such as Pixel C or iPad Air/Mini and then a less costly laptop such as a Lenovo Yoga or similar convertible would be more productive at similar or less cost.
