It's amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best thing apple could have invented, it's magnificent I think the only flaw would be that it takes for ever to change and the battery doesn't last as long as expected.

Nice, but incomplete without pencil & case
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the "pro" yesterday, but Pencil and keyboard case were not available. Without those two items, this thing is just a giant iPad. I was hoping the extra real estate would provide an enhanced aspect ratio or something. Instead, everything is in the same proportions, just larger. My initial reaction is that this was kind of a letdown. However, I think the addition of the Pencil and keyboard will greatly enhance the utility. Then, after app developers design more apps optimized for the screen and processor, and AAPL pushes out a couple of updates, I'm sure I will wonder what life was like on the old iPad. If you want to avoid a temporary letdown, don't buy this thing without the keyboard and pencil.

Loved it but ..
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kept dropping internet connection so I returned it . A google search showed it to be a common problem due to the update. None of the suggested fixes corrected the problem. When Apple stops forcing the updates I will purchase again.

It's an iPad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Smaller version of the pro. Supports keyboard case and pencil. This is a cellular model yet it didn't come with an Apple SIM. Had to go to my carrier for SIM and acitvation.

Perfect for me, maybe not for others
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I'm really liking the iPad Pro. Larger screen size makes it perfect for watching movies, streaming, games and more. Other than the internals, this is nothing more than a larger iPad Air 2 honestly. For me, I use it for entertainment purposes mostly. I'll do a bit of work on it however this is not a laptop replacement or everyday sort of tablet like others may use it. As such, it's perfect for me in that I can view movies and shows on a larger screen with a without issue. For those that are casual users or looking for something more functional in their daily lives, this might not be it for you. With it considerably larger size, carrying this thing daily might be a bit cumbersome for some people. Personally, I think the iPad Air 2 has the best form factor so far in terms of everyday carry and portability. While the pen and keyboard might be attractive to some, I don't really have a need for them but might prove very useful to other folks in the graphic design or arts area. So, I love it however this increase in size definitely isn't going to be for everyone that's for sure.

Good Product but No Mouse In Sight
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Apple iPad is a great product, but without the ability to connect with a mouse for certain document handling and other specific uses, it's not all that it should be for multiple uses. I traded it for a Microsoft Surface and would encourage others to do so - unless you're really into Apple products regardless.

The Product Replacer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.iPad Pro: The Product Replacer After watching weeks’ worth of peoples’ impressions, unboxings, and reviews of the iPad Pro online, I finally went out and purchased my very own. Despite the very large amount of negative feedback its receiving, I must say, I am satisfied with mine. To begin, I’m going to introduce myself as a 19-year-old college student who has never owned an iPad. I didn’t see the point of buying a tablet since I owned a laptop and an iPhone already. If I wanted the convenience and speed of a mobile app, I could use my phone. If I wanted the power and productivity of a big screen and keyboard, I could use my laptop. But when I heard the iPad Pro would receive major hardware upgrades, I thought about how useful this tablet would be for me, and how many other products it can replace. Allow me to elaborate on the major hardware upgrades I’m referencing. For instance, the iPad Pro has quad speakers. Apple claims these speakers are three times louder than their second-newest tablet, the iPad Air 2, and I believe them. These speakers are louder than any of my friends’ laptops that I’ve compared with. In fact, my friends and the strangers listening to our comparison from afar were all blown away at how much volume this behemoth can produce. Additionally, as if the speakers weren’t great enough, the Pro’s speakers alternate the bass depending on which position you choose to hold it in, landscape or portrait. Although I have to admit, especially if you’re buying a keyboard (which I consider a must), you will very rarely be using your iPad in portrait mode, so you probably won’t appreciate this feature as much as someone would who was using, say, an iPad Mini, or even the medium-sized iPads. So, this iPad can compensate the user for their purchase of an external speaker because their laptop or phone was just too quiet. That’s one produce replacement. Another major hardware upgrade is, obviously, the humongous and beautiful screen. Although Apple is trying to hype up the screen because of how many pixels is inside the screen (5.6 million), this iPad has the same pixels per inch as the iPad Air 2 (264 ppi), and less ppi than the iPad Mini 4 (326 ppi). Therefore, if you’re wanting an iPad mostly for the beautiful screen, the mini should be your first thought. But, regardless, the Pro’s screen is amazing, and I am very satisfied when watching videos on it. Furthermore, the big screen combined with loud speakers can allow for watching movies for tv shows rom a fair distance, like a television. Of course, I wouldn’t recommend a family of five replacing their mounted 52” flat screen for this 13” tablet to be put on a stand and viewed in the living room. However, if you’re a student living in a dorm, like myself, or if you live in a small apartment with one or two roommates, all of you could very much enjoy watching movies together on the iPad from a distance, if you find a way to stand it up at a decent 90 or 100 degree angle. The angle at which both the Smart Keyboard and Logitech CREATE Keyboard sits the iPad up at makes the tablet lean back slightly too far, which might annoy some people (like me). I personally do use this iPad as a television replacement while living in my dorm because I do not own a television. I can stand up the iPad on my bed on a few well-placed pillows so that it will mimic the viewing angle of a television. With the speakers on full volume, I can walk around anywhere in my dorm, make food to eat, clean the dorm up, all while still being able to see the iPad and hear it sufficiently. I can even read the subtitles from a distance, if the font is on large. All in all, this iPad is big enough that it can be a television replacement for a singular person who only uses their tv for cable (not gaming) considering there are free websites that allow anyone to stream their favorite tv shows, and most, if not all, television stations have their tv schedules online for anyone to view; they are usually even detailed and reveal which season and episode is currently playing on television. That’s two produce replacements. The iPad Pro has an insanely high amount of battery power. Apple claims 10-hour, all-day battery life, and I believe it. Every Tuesday and Thursday, I have 4 consecutive classes from 11 am to 4:45 pm. The first day of classes with my new iPad was a major success. I started the day by typing math notes that I would normally write down on a sheet of paper. I took about 30 minutes worth of notes for that class. Then, for my second class, I used the iPad to reference an essay my professor printed off and handed out in class to discuss for the majority of the class. I realize this wasn’t completely necessary since my professor handed out physical copies, but, if you’re like me, you prefer electronic versions over paper. Next, in my third class, I took notes again on the iPad for about 1 hour straight this time. Lastly, in my fourth and final class of the day, I used it for social media and gaming with the volume off while my professor lectured. The last class of the day is always rough, guys. So, after 4 consecutive classes with the iPad Pro, using it in each and every class, you might thinking surely this tablet is at 20% and dying, right? Wrong. By the end of all my classes, when I was heading back to my dorm, the iPad was just shy of 70% charged. I then returned to my dorm and started gaming and entertaining myself with videos and social media for a large portion of the evening. Finally, by the end of the night when I was ready for bed, the iPad was at about 10%. I was amazed it still had juice in it considering I never touched my laptop and my phone was in the 70% region. For a comparison, my phone used to always be under 20% by the end of the night before buying this tablet. Therefore, clearly, this tablet replaced my laptop and phone, mostly. However, I cannot determine if it would do the same for you. I still use my laptop to play some games that require Java, and I store my documents and important files on my laptop (even stuff I created on the iPad I will save to my laptop). But other that, this iPad has replaced my laptop. That’s potentially three product replacements. Moving from hardware to software, iOS 9 allows for split screen viewing of many vital applications. This feature makes the iPad a true productive device, especially for students. I recently wrote a research paper on the iPad, with the help of the Logitech keyboard, and with split screen, I could save the articles I was going to use in my paper to iBooks, open Microsoft Word or Pages (I find them to be equally as good), and split screen my research paper draft, and the research in iBooks that I have to read in order to write the paper, side-by-side. This helped tremendously for when I wanted to copy a sentence or more that I found in the articles that were worth quoting. Although it’s true that not many apps currently support split screen viewing, the ones that do are the main ones you would need, such as all the native iPad apps. Besides, in a short amount of time, I’m confident a large portion of the apps from the app store will be updated to support iPad Pro/iOS 9 and all their great features. Of course this is just the beginning of what this new iPad is capable of becoming. In the near or distant future, Apple or a third-party company could release a new accessory for the smart connector or create an app of epic proportions that could replace another product you may or may not own. There are other products this iPad could replace that I haven’t mentioned, a number of digital drawing tablets, if you buy the Apple Pencil, for example, but I will end here. These are all product replacements I have noticed the iPad could replace within the short amount of time I’ve owned it. Again, these product replacements are not possible for everyone, but definitely a decent-sized audience. I am excited to see what app developers and Apple have in mind for the iPad Pro in the future.

Excellent iPad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own my own business, and I wanted to see if I would be able to use this iPad Pro to replace the MacBook Air that I normally carried around. My life is getting more and more mobile, and I felt that for most of my needs, iOS is really the place to be. After nearly three weeks with this device, I must say that I am perfectly satisfied. So much so, that I'm selling my MacBook Air. I have all of my spreadsheets in Apple Numbers in iCloud, I use Pages for my documents, and much of my invoicing/inventory/etc. for my business is online based. I still have my desktop that I can remote into from the iPad (on its gorgeous screen) if I need to work on something on Mac OS X. But, for the majority of my needs, switching to the iPad Pro was a great decision. It's lighter than my MacBook, has a much better resolution and battery life, and it's just so much more convenient than hauling a laptop around. I highly recommend this iPad. I've owned many iPads and they each have their uses, but I'm particularly happy with this purchase.
