The iPad Pro 12.9 inch is excellent. I upgraded from a 2013 MacBook Air & I have had no issues so far. It is best used with the magic keyboard and Apple Pencil.

This 12.9-inch iPad is fantastic! It can double as a laptop with the dual-purpose keyboard, it just keeps getting better! I also love the independence to connect to Internet, I am using T-Mobile, 5G technology is awesome!

It has been an year since I bought the product, just within a month outside warranty my screen has dashed lines. I haven't taken apple care +, they are gonna charge me very high now. Please take Applecare+ with these high end premium products. There is a high chance you would get into issues immediately after warranty. Apple products are so expensive and applecare+ on top of that is bad.

I've been using the iPad Pro for around 2 years, and it's been an excellent tool for both work and leisure. The screen is incredibly vibrant, making it great for watching videos and editing photos. The 256GB of storage is sufficient for all my apps and media, and the cellular capability is a lifesaver when Wi-Fi isn't available. However, it's pretty hefty, which makes using it as a handheld device for extended periods a bit tiring. Despite that, it's a powerhouse that has yet to disappoint in performance.

I think Apple really misses a market of creatives and academic users who really need the larger screen size and high refresh rate that the iPad Pro 12.9 offers, but would much rather have better battery longevity than the ridiculous compute power of M1, power efficient as it may be. At 75% or so brightness and 6-8+ hours of use in a day for G Suite app, email, light browsing, and note taking on Notability and Goodnotes, the battery is just on the lean side at the 20-30% range or below, which forces me to find a charger or charge the iPad at home to do homework and entertain myself in the evening, which is just less than ideal. Although I have my woes with the “Stage manager” feature that allows you to split the screen (namely confusing and unwieldy layouts for allocating screen space), it works just OK for a basic 50/50 left-right screen split. I do wish you could fine tune the size of each half of the screen. There’s also a vertical floating window that I mistakenly resize applications to, which can slide out to either the left or right of the screen, and it’s quite annoying whenever I do this on accident. I wish there was a horizontal floating window that slides out from the top or bottom, as I think it would be far more useful. Despite these gripes, Apple Pencil and iPad provides the premier experience for handwritten digital note-taking over any other tablets. From my personal experience, I would recommend the iPad Pro 11” for the best mix between weight, performance, size, features, and value.

I have now had this IPad for about a year & a half and can confidently say it is the best purchase, hands-down, that I have ever made. I also bought a keyboard case for it, so it is amazing that I can use it as a tablet while also being able to use it as a computer when needed. It is very light weight, the camera is phenomenal, it is extremely fast…I could honestly go on for days about why you should purchase this IPad!! Absolutely recommend.
