The Apple® MD826LL/A 12W USB Power Adapter is a certified Apple® product which packs a whopping 12 Watts of power to power up your Apple® device in (A LOT) less time. The Apple® Power Adapter has a single USB charging port on the top to fit your USB charging cord. Sure, there's a cheaper, smaller, and still a respectable option with the 5 Watt Apple® Charging Cube, or those cheap non-recommended square knock off version charging cubes that will work at least until you get home from the discount store, but be prepared to wait for the power to deliver at a much slower speed. Think of 5 Watts as driving 50 miles per hour and 12 Watts as driving and passing vehicles at 120 miles per hour, big difference in power and speed. (We do not recommend you drive that fast) but there should be no speed limits for Apple® charging, and this is like stepping on the accelerator going in the right direction. The size of the adapter is not much larger than the Apple® Charging Cube, and you won't even care or notice the difference in size. The 12 Watt Apple® USB Power Adapter is not heavy or overwhelming, but has some weight that feels like nothing but pure quality. It is smooth with rounded corners, and the metal prongs (the two metal things at the end that fit in the electric socket) fold up making it comfortable to carry in any situation. Once out of the box, you can be confident that your Apple® Power Adapter will start working hard charging all your Apple® products with the power they deserve and all your Apple® products will love you for it.

I bought an iPhone 6 last year and enjoy everything about it except the small power brick that came with the device. After a little looking around, I discovered a 12W iPad power brick charged my device very quickly, in less than 30 minutes. On a whim, I read up on charging my Nexus tablets with the 12W brick and it was safe to do so. I tried it and it worked great. So great, in fact, that I bought two more so I can charge all my devices faster. I recently flew out of state for a funeral and took all three with me. They worked great. I was able to completely recharge my iPad Air 2 and my iPhone 6 Plus on a short layover and arrived at my destination with plenty of juice after heavy use.

Great USB power adapter for charging all of my Apple products! It is easy to transport when on the go, and super easy to use and very reliable as far as functionality!

So I confess, I don't read directions. My IPhone 6 came with a small plug and my iPad Air came with a larger plug. I kept one in the living room and one in the bedroom. That way no matter where I needed to charge my phone or iPad it was handy. Unfortunately I lost my large plug so I was using just the small one. I then decided to bite the bullet and buy another plug. Since the smaller plug was cheaper I thought why not. WHY NOT? Well no wonder my iPad took forever to charge, the larger plug has a higher Amp and Voltage. I purchased the right one and now my iPad charges in no time. Also bought one for my son's family as they were having the same problem. Thank you Best Buy for having such knowledgeable associates who steered me in the right direction and taught me a valuable lesson.

Solid Apple build quality and obviously certified to work perfectly with Apple devices. Great for fast-charging the new iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and X. These are more compact than the large bulkier ones, and I read a detail comparison review where it shows the net effect of time savings during fast charging with this (less expensive) size vs. the larger size was fairly negligible. That sold me on getting these instead.

I personally use this with a lightning cable to provide a quicker charge to my iPhone's. It is very simple to use and blends in with my home and other home accessories well. I've owned previous ones and they have a good life. In the one event I had to replace it before a years time Apple sent one to me next day and I sent mine back in a box to them. No questions asked, end of story. Good product.

An upgrade from the power adapter that comes with the iphone. Faster, sturdy and more reliable. Though Apple products are essentially fair traded across all retailers, always seem to get better pricing at Best Buy.

Perfect, does what it is meant to do! BUT, it is just 0.4 amps stronger than any regular 2amp charger. ... so, make a price comparison before you buy this original apple charger with 2.4 amp's! Of cause it works like it should be and I do not care about price, I want the original part, not a cheap copy which gets hot and fails to many times right after the warranty ends!

2.4 amp USB charger will charge anything you attach to it. Tablets, phones, whatever. And if those devices support 5 volt fast charging with 2 amp chargers, they'll get along great with this adapter. Plus, the way it's designed gives you the option to either plug it straight into the wall or attach it to a power cord with a figure-8 plug (Apple's own or off-the-shelf).

I am very fond of this product because of how fast it charges my stuff! Yeah, I do have other brands that are cheaper, but I always buy one of these to have with me especially when I'm traveling. It's so dependable and that's very important to me. Id' definitely recommend buying one of these to always have with you.

This 12W wall plug is the best and fastest to charge your iPhone and more importantly your iPad. I replaced my iPhone plug with this purchase so that both devices can charger quickly. No overheating. Works well with non Apple cords(I specifically use Amazon 6ft cords).

I bought the copycat product for 5$, but it doesn't charge my phone properly when I plug it to cigarette lighter. The one made by NVIDIA cost me 30$. This one I purchased it at around $20, and works just fine. Cheap one was only 1 amp probably. This one is 2.4. Faster charging and could be use for android too.

My Gen 1 iPad charger had died a couple of years ago thanks to me leaving it plugged into a non-grounded strip without the iPad attached ( thank goodness) during a severe thunderstorm. I had replaced it several times with a non-Apple product which worked ok but it charged more slowly. Suddenly, having somehow acquired several different chargers, my iPad kept giving me a message that it could not charge with that device, not sure what was up with that as I had not updated the iPad for years since I only use it now to read iBooks and Kindle books. Anyway, this works all the time, every time, back to charging the iPad up more quickly. Glad Apple didn't discontinue making these.

This is a super power adapter for Apple products. It charges up all my iPads, iPhones, iWatch, and other stuff with no problems. Much better adapter than the average basic default charger that Apple provides with all its iPhones. Usually takes about 1-2 hours to fully charge.

While I do not think much about Apple's power cords, I AM impressed by this power cube. It charges all devices I have tried quickly and cleanly. The 12 Watt mode quickly charges an iPhone or iPad, while still working on smaller devices without damaging them. This is what users expect of Apple!

Used other chargers and cables that weren't an Apple product on my iPhone and iPad and had nothing but trouble. This charger works great, not a single problem, again not a single problem...from now on I will not use any other brand...APPLE ONLY!

We mostly have Apple devices in the family and getting this power adapter is a no-brainer. It charges a lot faster than the regular adapter that came with the tablet and phone. Very convenient to use.

I picked up this power brick to help speed the charging time of my iPhone X and other iPhones in the home when time is of the essence. It definitely helps and it’s nice to be able to plug most USB based charging cables into it. This is not as large as the 29 watt brick at all so it still conveniently fits in most cases and bags without causing problems. For 20 bucks it doesn’t hurt to have a faster phone charger that also charges your other USB cord products.

This is the iPad charger from Apple. I use this one for charging my iPhone 6+ because it provides 2.1A of current. This charges my iPhone much faster than the provided iPhone charge that comes in the box with the new iPhone.

Let first say, I do like Apple Inc. products. I'm a Apple guy through and through. But I also like other brands and devices as well. I have a Lenovo tablet, an HP Touchpad, and numerous others. All came with a wall charger and cord. Some of those chargers work well and some don't. I have found myself often plugging my devices into the Apple 12W wall charger. It's awesome at charging Apple devices, but it also knocks the socks off many of the other chargers on the market. I have found it easy to choose between the OEM charger and the Apple one when it's available, which is rare! This charger use to sell for $24.99 or more. Now it and the 5W wall charger have both finally fallen in price and are great for all-around charger uses. Pick one up if you can and try it! You won't be disappointed!!
