Perfect for Travel!

Note: This 12W power adapter has a USB output (NOT a Lightning connector!) so it correctly mates with standard Apple USB to Lightning cables. When used with the Apple Worldwide adapter kit, the North American style plug slides off and one can then slide on a geographically appropriate mains plug.

Expensive, but worth it if you have an iPad

No wonder it took all day for my iPad to charge! Because of the increased wattage, my iPad charges a lot faster than the little USB power outlet adapters I was using. My iPhone also charges much faster with this as well. It's expensive, as is always the case in the Apple universe, but to me it was worth the money.

I ended up buying it later at BestBuy and I am glad that I did! I don't charge anything overnight so in the 20 minutes that I charge my phone I am able to charge it a lot faster than with a regular brick. Would definitely repurchase!

Rational choice

This particular device reduced my charging time to a great extent. Anyone who travels a lot or uses the battery upto 5% or so, this is the best and wise choice to go for. I’m really happy to have purchased this! Great choice! And it’s not as huge as it seems to be in the picture.
