I switched for the ecosystem. Sadly, I find Apple products work together better and more seamlessly than anything Android puts out. I would not say the iPad is better by any means, but I do think all of Apple‘s apps work together in a much more cohesive manner. If you are not concerned with being part of Apple‘s ecosystem in any manner, I would actually recommend the Samsung Galaxy tab ultra series as the android tablet for you to purchase. Unfortunately, in order to match the specs on my previous tablet. I had to get the pro series from Apple. While I am glad I made the purchase. I do not think that it is worth the price difference unless all your apps working together cohesively and from device to device is an important aspect of your purchasing decision. Then you will have to go with an Apple purchase and unfortunately, pay the higher price tag that Apple products have. Again, I am very happy with my purchase. I just wish android ecosystem work together as seamlessly as the Apple ecosystem.
