I just recently purchased my iMac around Thanksgiving and so far I'm loving it. I made the switch from being a longtime PC user and the transition has been pretty seamless. I was already familiar considering I use an iPhone and iPad. The set up was very simple and its been easy to use (and I'm not a tech savvy person). Plus it looks great in my home office with its sleek lines and minimalistic appeal. Would definitely purchase again.

I've always owned Apple Macs and it was time to upgrade my old one after 8 years. I selected this Mac as it seemed to be a good value for my basic needs. I love the large screen and the speed of the new machine. Setup was a breeze and I was able to easily transfer all my old files. Would definitely buy again.

This computer serves all my needs for home and work just as the reviews I had read . It is super fast and easy to set up and link my phone and iPad to as well as my printer

I was ready for a new computer and decided I wanted an Apple after hearing all the great comments from my daughter. I am loving it! My photos are now well organized. I can edit them with ease. The screen size is large enough for ease of viewing. All the programs are readily seen and I have no problem finding anything I want to do (especially I love solitaire). I fill many of my hours exploring the capabilities of this beautiful computer.

Very pleased with my new Mac. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish it were flash storage. Sometimes you need to wait longer than seems necessary to load a program. But other than that, for the price is an excellent purchase. Like I said, this is good for a general use home computer. If you want this for professional editing, I would recommend something with a little more power. But I have used it to edit some of my own movies in iMovie without any disappointment. It's kind of hard to turn down a brand new Mac for $800 (purchased on Black Friday) Also, I used in store pick-up because the store was sold out. Easy process and my Mac came to the store within 3 days. I had a great experience with my local Best Buy.

We already had an 21.5 iMac, which our kids constantly use to play Minecraft. Because of this, we had been keeping our eyes open for a good deal to get another one for the family. Best Buy Black Friday deals? Problem solved! Kids still complain that the game "lags", but I don't think this is really related to the computer, but more an Internet issue. I'm pleased with the purchase - no more fighting over the one iMac computer!

I was originally going to Best Buy for the MacBook Air. I had my mind set and ready to purchase as soon as I walked in. However when I walked to the Apple section I immediately fell in love with the iMac. The screen was giant which I love as well as the mouse and keyboard was Bluetooth and wireless. I love the FaceTime as well. The only problem I have which was a easy fix was the CD drive is desperate purchase. I honestly didn't really need it so it wasn't a make or break since I knew the MacBook Air didn't have one either. Overall if you want something for your office this is absolutely worth buying. I will probably get the Air soon for portability because everything will easily be transferred through iCloud when needed.

After years of purchasing PC's and dealing with viruses, I finally succumb to purchasing an IMAC, initially I went into the store to purchase a Mac mini (after thorough research). However, after doing comparison in the store I realized that the best bang for my buck was to purchase this IMAC especially since it was on sale for $100 less than the regular price. Of course, while in the store I did my own price check and surmised this was a great deal. Anyway, although this is not my first Apple product, I am extremely happy and satisfied with its performance and features and am wondering what took me so long. I guess you can say I am an IMAC for life and have encouraged all of my family and friends to jump on the bandwagon. I would highly recommend this desktop, you will not be disappointed.

This is my 2nd Apple computer, my first being in college. Things have changed! I really like how this computer looks and feels. Processor is plenty fast, tons of memory. It was even easier than I thought to use boot camp to partition the drive and install Windows. Great purchase, decent price. Would definitely recommend for someone thinking of going apple.

This item arrived damaged but the computer itself was fabulous while it worked which was all of two days. I attempted to return the item at the Matthews location. I went to the facility because the website stated it was in stock. I arrived at the store and was told by their customer service team that because I got the item at such a great deal online I would have to pay retail to take the item home that day from the store. The customer service representative who completed the return reported she would have a new i-mac shipped expedite to my home to receive the item at the price purchased for. I was not happy with this decision as the item was in stock and I wanted to leave with it but there was a $400 price difference. The item was exchanged in store and receipts were printed my item was meant to arrive 2 to 3 days after purchase on the 4th day I called the 1-800 number provided on the receipt and was told the order was not reflected in the system. After an hour and a half I got the Matthews location to answer the phone the manager reported the order was in suspend mode and never processed. I now have to go back to the location and pick up the i-mac I was denied to leave with 4 days prior. Disappointed in the customer service I received but the manager on duty stated that they will correct the mishap. The i-mac itself was great while my computer worked, I cannot wait to get my other one home.

So far I am loving my computer. Have owned lots of computers (Dell,Samsung) but keep coming back to the Apple! The cost has always been a factor to make me stray but I always seem to return. It is lightweight and is easy to move around. The performance and picture is amazing. The Apple computer continues to be user friendly. You will not regret this purchase.

Great computer.Works for all needs of the family.Not just for Apple junkies.This computer is smooth as expected.Having other apple products will be a blessing as things just sync as you would expect.I have a MacBook Air and a MacBook Pro and both work with a lot less hassle than Windows computers after 1 year of using them.I expect the same from this Mac.

I'll start by saying that this iMac is a great computer for the money! I got this on a black Friday deal for $899 so it was quite a bargain. I will admit that I would not have chosen the bottom line model had it not been for the price. I would have went for the next model up with the 2.8GHz, quad core processor. But after using it for a month now, it's really surprised me and I would recommend this to anyone who will be using it for web surfing, email, or light photo editing. It's no gaming machine but it has some pretty decent power under the hood and would be more than adequate for browser-based games. Very light and thin frame also so it looks great and is easy to move if you need to. The 1TB 5,400rpm hard drive is nice if you need a good amount of storage but it is a little slow on start-up and spin-up times. I would have rather had a 256GB SSD for the extra speed boost but that wasn't an option on this type of deal. Overall, I am very pleased with this computer and I hope that it will last as long as my last iMac did which was 8 years.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Perfect screen size for everyday use! I use it to browse the web and write. I love writing! I plan to edit videos and pictures soon and I think it's still a great size for that. A bigger screen would be nice but this is perfect and I got it for a great price! I definitely recommend this and it's my first mac!

It was time to upgrade my old iMac which ended up very slow. This one is super fast. The 8GB of RAM really makes a difference. I think the screen is beautiful and doesn't need the retina display. This ultimately saved me a lot of money. The keyboard and mouse have been great and I've experienced no issues with anything yet.

This was our first Mac purchase after multiple PC disappointments. The screen is a good size for our home office computer. It is taking some time to get used to the MAC operating system, but so far I've been able to figure out anything I've tried to do with a simple Internet search. Very pleased so far with this purchase. A couple things that could be improved on- keyboard is small and does not have a side number pad (which is annoying at times), and there is no CD drive. Looks like one can be purchased additionally, but would be nice if it was included.

I have been wanting an iMac for a very long time. Checked reviews and knew this was the one I wanted! I did not disappoint!! The it takes such a minimal space on the desk, no processor unit, and looks so sleek. The Magic Mouse and keyboard are awesome. The computer functions beautifully! I have no regrets with this iMac!!

I love the size of the monitor , the ease of moving from screen to screen fits well with my desk overall a good value for the price
