I love my new 2017 iMac. Super fast and the 4k screen is amazing.

I got this for my wife bc her MacBook pro was almost 9 years old and on its last leg. She loves the screen quality, speed, and ease of using it. We haven't done anything heavy duty yet but are enjoying our iMac so far.

This is the best machine for the money. I have fusion drive and 4G Video card for some editing. This machine was purchased for just over $1300.00 The IMac has all the necessary components to be robust in any application.

I've used all the iMacs from the first "Blueberry" on down the line. The latest version offers the slickest package yet. Gone are the CD/DVD drives but you don't miss them much. Colors are awesome. Speed is so-so but I did not get or need the fastest for my line of work so I'm OK with it. Overall great deal for the technology package as a whole. I still prefer the larger wired keyboards with the USB ports over the small standard one-why not include the larger ones or have it as an upgrade?. Minor quibbles aside, still the best for the money.

This is my second iMac I have purchased and I truly love these computers. I had my other one for over 10 years and it still works great. I only bought a second one because I needed it for my business.

Solid apple product as usual! Great screen with the retina display, I5 and 8GB does just fine...boots fast and runs smooth. Setup is a breeze, connected straight to the wifi and off we go!

Bought this as the “family” computer in family room, it’s fast, display is crisp and clear, perfect for everyday use, internet, online games, streaming videos, etc. love it!

Although the iMac computers are somewhat expensive they are worth every penny. Fantastic speed, brilliant screen great storage, I'm so glad I bought it.

Finally abandoned my PC, and entered the world of MAC. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner. Unfortunately, I could never bring myself around to justify spending what I felt was an exuberant amount of hard earned money for what I assumed was a basic commodity. I have never been so wrong! This Mac is the ultimate! The speed, the graphics, the programs; no comparison. There are things in life we may deprive ourselves from obtaining, this is not one of them. What an experience!

The sharpness of the colors on this computer are amazing. I will always buy Apple products for their ease of use and quality. I would recommend this IMAC to anyone.

My previous iMac got sick so I purchased a new one, a 4K model. Love it. Super quick on the draw/. No problems so far, but that is normal as none are expected.

After 35 years of being a staunch supporter of Windows, I was hesitant to make the switch from Windows to IOS. I finally decided to give it a try after my umpteenth Windows 10 crash in the past several months. It was a great decision and I love my new iMac. It is extremely fast, operates to perfection, and works seamlessly with Office 360 documents I have created on my work cloud drives with Windows. I should have made the switch years ago. In fact, I was so impressed with this purchase and switch to IOS I recently upgraded my phone from Android to Apple.

Transitioning from PC. Learning the new os shortcuts takes some adjustment, but it’s going great so far.

Bought iMac with fusion drive and upped the memory for Photoshop. Great fast unit. Screen is extremely sharp. Fusion drive really loads an image quickly.

The new Apple - 21.5" iMac® with Intel Core i5 (3.4GHz) - 8GB Memory - 1TB Fusion Drive is a competent and well-built product. The fusion drive, which is a combination of solid-state drive (SSD) and traditional hard-disk drive, allow this very sleek looking desktop computer to "wake-up" quickly as the operating system and frequently-used files are stored on the SSD. There is also new word processing ("Pages") and spreadsheet ("Numbers") software included in the suite of programs delivered with this new iMac. On the down-side, I really regret Apple's decision to eliminate the 24-inch screen size in the iMac line. Now, customers are forced to choose between a 21-inch format and a huge 27-inch screen. For our application, using the iMac on our kitchen counter, the 24-inch format was the perfect "Goldilocks" solution - i.e., not to big and not too small. The new iMacs also lack an optical drive, so you'll need an external CD-DVD drive to access any existing software or media you own our purchase on discs. In a similar vein, Apple no longer supports the program "iDVD" which allowed movies created in "iMovie" to be burned to a DVD. This is another casualty of the switch to streaming media, but its absence does reduce the flexibility of the newer iMacs and forces the user to purchase 3rd party DVD-authoring software. Bummer! By the way, the reason I had to upgrade to the newer iMac: My vintage 2009 24-inch iMac lost its ability to perform a Time-Machine backup and Apple-Care could not provide a solution.
