    This would be 5 stars for $999, but for the price it is going for it is somewhat of a disappointment. Start up is slow, as is wake from sleep. The fusion drive which they make a big deal about is weak. I also notice the spinning beach ball and have to wait for some tasks. I played a couple 4k video files and noticed some pausing while playing. I replaced a 2009 iMac with SSD with this and overall I am just not impressed.

    The screen has great coloration, I like the keyboard (after I got used to the different touch) and I am gradually learning to adjust to the features of the Apple products.

    Our 2010 iMac died unexpectedly, so we purchased the updated model. So far, so good. Thank goodness we had a cloud based backup. Even if it did take 10 days to restore all our photos.

    Expected to be a bit faster. Overall very nice but not much quicker then my old Dell. Too many variables in speed to completely blame on the computer though

    The unit was discounted so we decided to purchase it. We like the final result but it took a long time to set up. Lots of updates that should not happen with a new unit.

    Awesome machine. Downside is they do not provide a large ssd. Will need to get external ssd to boot for fastest performance.
