Great speed, perfect for the moderate use I need!!

I wanted a MAC for a program I needed that only ran on the OSX platform. So when Best Buy had it marked down for Black Friday, I bit the bullet and bought my first Apple computer. I've always been a Windows PC person and know the OS back and forwards. Although the OSX takes a bit of getting used to, it is easy enough to get around on, because most tasks are universally the same on any computer. That being said, the machine itself has a lot of performance issues. It takes several minutes to boot, and loading a program like Word or Outlook takes almost 5 minutes. Programs frequently freeze if you are trying to multitask. Not to mention, the bluetooth connection to the mouse and keyboard is spotty and often lost. This is my first iMac. It will probably be my last. I would not recommend this computer for anyone. Even though my Windows machine is almost 8 years old, it runs twice as fast.

I would highly not recommend this product if you plan on using it for anything even slightly heavy duty whatsoever. I needed to buy a new computer because, one I had the money, and two my laptop was quitting on me. I blame myself mostly for even trusting Apple with the amount of money I spent on this computer. I even dished out the extra two hundred or so dollars to get the extra .5 ghz or whatever, and the better graphics. This computer lags on just about every move or command I make in Photoshop. I make YouTube videos, and I needed a computer that could handle this sort of work. I regret buying this thing every day I use it. Had I not been so ignorant in my purchase, I would have been able to get a perfectly powerful computer with the money I spent on this thing. It's not like two grand comes walking in the door often for me. I apologize if I am coming off as harsh on this product, but the truth of the matter is, unless you can spend the almost four grand or whatever to get Apple's top spec'd computer, this is not a professional-grade product. This is a consumer-grade product. If all your looking to do is do the usual internet stuff, this computer will be more than enough, but any more than that, this computer will fall flat. Very flat. However, I give it a one star, one because I have to, and two because I really enjoy the iOS. Way over Windows. So there's that. But literally getting yet another computer is something I have to do, to do the real things I need to do. Just make sure to do your research before wasting your time with this thing.

Always have been a fan of Apple Mac computers. It is a lot lighter than our old one which is a plus and the keyboard and mouse doesnt run on batteries anymore!

Computer is fast only if you purchase an External SSD drive and an External USB 3.0 enclosure, the ones they sell at best buy works great. The 5400 RPM HD is a dog and I don't know why apple decided on this.... Geekbench score of around 3600 on Quad i5 2.7ghz 21.5" model with external SSD drive

Replaced my older Mac PC with this new iMac and am thrilled with it. Easy transfer and connection to router.

Kind a slow and hard to use.. i returned the product..

Lightly used this computer and after 2 years 1 month it dies!!! Memory and Logic board are fuzed together and it is over $640 to fix!!! Called Apple and they will “recycle” for free.? You mean put a new part and sell it at my expense. Just..completely....disgusted.

Worst Computer ever...and we have 5 other apple computers. S....L.....O....W
