This computer is by far the best I have ever used!! It is lightning fast with every possible app and feature you can ask for. I was a little hesitant about spending that much money on a computer but am so glad I did! I am officially an apple guy for life!!

Had an iMac and a PC side by side in our computer room ! They were the same age and same price range, about $1200.00. The Mac was hands down in a whole different league. The graphics incredibly better. The Mac is so trouble free. I could go on forever. The PC died and getting a new Mac was a no brainier.

I have other Apple products. This is the first Apple desk top that I have used. Works very well as I am getting familiar with it. Don't know why I waited so long to purchase one!!!!!

After making the decision to move from from PC to Mac, I "test drove" a MacBook Pro and the iMac for two weeks in order to decide which I liked best. I'd like to have both, but let's be honest -- Apple is proud of what they've done and it shows; in the excellence of their products and in their pricing. Although I chose the Macbook Pro, mostly for it's portability, the iMac is now in the number 1 place on my "Buy List". Wow -- this is what an all-in-one should be! Well built, fast, responsive, fun to use and pleasing to look at. My only "complaint", actually more of an observation, is that after comparing the retina display on even the small 13" display, I can understand why Retina is the new "must have". I decided to return the 21" iMac (which I loved) and purchase the 27" with Retina display as soon as I can afford it. The iMac is the BEST computer I ever used ... And I've had at least a dozen over the years. It's super fast and a real joy to use -- even when you're sitting in front of it for those long, bleary-eyed hours.

I upgraded from an older macbook pro - turned out way better than I expected

Bought this for use as a centralized area for the family to work on school projects etc. Works out great, easy interface, the parental controls are easy to set up with a wide variety of options to choose from. Great computer, with great ways to keep the family's security in mind.

I bought this iMac to replace an older, outdated iMac from 2008. This has been a huge improvement. It's very fast, has a great display and has had zero problems. We use it for our business, which does web design and online marketing, so our computers have to be reliable and capable. This iMac is both. We run photoshop and illustrator, often at the same time, with online music streaming and multiple browser tabs and other apps open - there is no noticeable lag and everything runs quickly and smoothly. I would definitely recommend paying extra for this model with the quad core processor vs the one that is a step down and a little less expensive. The price difference is worth it.

I just bought this desktop for my kid, finally made him upgrade from a laptop to a desktop. First of all, it is the only way to make him change his bad habit of use the laptop while laying on the bed, ergonomically it requires him to be seated at the desk. He is a composer, so the big screen allows him to work easily on his projects. The processor is fast enough for his needs. The 1tb disk space is good, and he is really happy with his new mac.

Simple to install Very easy to use Fast and perfect for work

I finally made the switch from windows to Mac, should have done it years ago. I have had an iPad for years and recently got a iPhone so the switch was relatively easy, took a class at the Apple Store which made the switch seamless. Computer loads fast and way less virus potential.

This is a great computer with a beautiful screen. I upgraded from a Mac Air laptop and it was the best thing I could have done. Having a cordless mouse and keyboard give me a lot more work space without all the cords. Great computer and with the Apple assistance to help when I have a question my frustration is gone!

This computer works. It's fast, looks great and is reliable

I love the all in one. It saves a ton of space and is a very sleek design. Once I got used to the operating system it is very easy to use. Clear picture and beautiful color. Very pleased with my purchase.

I wanted to wait for the next one but the old iMac video card died and I couldn't live without. I seriously considered the low end model but the extra processor speed and cores won out. In my post shopping scramble to justify the extra dollars I did read that I made the right decision since I do look for longevity. My last iMac worked very well for 5 years and I did like that I could do an aftermarket RAM upgrade. But, I can live with the base RAM. I love the performance so far. I would have liked to have BTO options but I'm happy with my purchase and I love the iMac. I have had iMacs and PCs. In the end I would rather pay more and get what I want especially considering the antivirus costs and the useful life and OS.
