I love my Apple - 21.5" iMac. I got this one as an upgrade to one that was the same size, just a smaller processor. I have slowly changed everything over from Android, Google, and other companies to where all things in my home are now Apple. This iMac has an impressive display at 4k, the Intel Core i5 (3.0GHz) is super fast, I love the fact that I have 1TB of Fusion Drive. I take a lot of pics, and I will never get this drive filled up, a least for a very long time. Maybe a little more on the pricy side but is definitely worth the extra.

If you're simply looking for a nice desktop computer for your everyday needs, then this is going to do the job and then some. In terms of using it for work and play-related things, I think of it like driving a Cadillac over a Chevy. This machine will perform most any task with great speed and ease. It's an elegant piece of hardware as well, being entirely self-contained, and the keyboard and Magic Mouse both very comfy to use. The latter two stay charged for nearly a month at a time with daily use. Oh, and the 4K Retina© display is beautiful. I honestly can't imagine the new 5K being any sharper. I bought this computer brand new in the box one year ago. It's the first Apple product I've ever owned, and I'm impressed. I purchased it with the sole intent of using it for music production. With it, I can run Ableton Live 11 (my DAW of choice) with at least eight tracks of plug-ins and automations, as well as hardware—two MIDI keyboards and a USB interface—before it really starts to use up a lot of the CPU. I can even check out a website or watch a YouTube tutorial while I've got Ableton running, and it still doesn't lock up on me. It's impressive! While this certainly isn't an optimal computer for music production, housing its modest i5 3.0GHz processor, it's still no slouch! If you're a hobbyist musician like myself, it's just fine. With that said, I'm sure someday—perhaps several years from now—I'll upgrade to a more powerful model, but for now, it's really just fine for my purposes. As for being a used PC/laptop type of guy coming into the world of Apple, I have to say that the quality of this machine is really nice. Of course, it's also the most expensive computer I've ever bought, but hey, you get what you pay for!

love this new iMac. Fast and great graphics. The saleslady was very helpful. Play lots of Farmville, and don't have the crashes so bad now. Love APPLE!!

A great desktop! It does what it says it would!! Great picture quality. A good size for a desk. Not too small. Not too big.

I went in looking for an iMac originally wanted the big one but then realized I would just go with the 21” model..Have to say the Best Buy employee was so helpful and helped me on every question..Came home conectes everything and IM IN LOVE...The plus is the keyboard and mouse it comes with!!

I bought this iMac for the intentions of video editing and it work’s beautifully, I highly recommended this to anyone who is switching to Mac and who is looking into video editing.

And efficient it is Easy to set up and link up with all my other Apple products

Beautiful display with the retina display. Very very thin. Looks amazing. And it's a mac, so easy to use, very fast.

I love Apple computers bc they’re so easy to use and I picked up a few of these iMacs for our new business offices and workstations. They are sleek, hardware components are simple and wireless, specs are just fine for standard office grinding. If you have more graphics intensive programs it is worth looking into a different model or a customized upgrade through Apple directly. Anyway, these are dependable, long lasting, great UI/OS and look great!

I got this iMac with the intention of using it for at home music production (a little upgrade from my previous macbook that couldn't handle the processing) It works great. Simplicity of design makes it easy to navigate for those who may just be looking for a new computer to use for at home office use; but has many features that can be adjusted for those with different needs. Great for photo/video editing, easy transfers from iphone to imac (praise the lord for airdrop), and overall smooth and sleek lookin' computer. :) I'd say the only thing I'd improve would be the speakers. Volume isn't as much of an issue as is quality--I chose to hook up my own; but would be fine for everyday use.

I've had my old iMac for ten years. It's a great machine still ! But Apple no longer supports the hardware and I needed to upgrade to a newer machine to take advantage of the latest releases of OS-X and other software. Glad I did. New machine has new technology that was not avaialble 10 years ago at the price of this machine. Better display, and Fusion Drive, which helps make programs load faster. Also the new machine has six cores whereas the 10 year old only had two. And even though the clock speed is about the same, it just seems to be faster at things that I think are single threaded. Also, Best Buy threw in some Anti-Virus software either free or very nearly so, (I forget which) and that has been welcome too! I do miss having the Optical DVD/CD ROM drive, but if that gets serious I can add it with the new ports on the back of the machine. Also, I'll probably need to replace this little keyboard with the full keboard with the numeric pad some day, but for now things are fine. Oh, forgot to mention that transferring files to this new machine was a snap as I'd previously used Time Machine Backup and just had to plug in the time machine and answer a few questions and away it went (for hours) moving files off the old external hard drive onto the new internal drive. Need to get a new external drive some day soon.

Speedy system purchased for second in home computer to make up for the kids using the main system in the house. I’ve always loved the MAC inherent photo editing advantage with the included software. Pricey compared to other all inclusive systems but excellent minimalist approach to creating a handsome unit. I’m a new convert to the Magic Mouse and at times I think a scrolling wheel is easier to use. That and the price kept me from giving it five stars. I would recommend this system, especially if you can catch a sale like I did.

It seems pretty fast even though it has only an i5 CPU. I was worried a little about the RAM 8GB - seemed too low but I am making do so far. It seems like when I compared prices of say an Intel NUC and building it out with a 4K monitor it was approaching the price of this whole system. I wanted a Mac and now I have one.

This Mac system has really upgraded out audio visual capabilities at our church. It is also much faster than our previous system and the graphics are outstanding. After only having it for less than 2 months, the media department loves it for ease of operation.

Computer is fast! 21” screen is plenty of size but you can’t upgrade your RAM on this size screen only on 27” which is something I didn’t realize. iMac is totally different than an iPhone or iPad. It will take some time to get use to.

As always, Apple products are the best. This iMac is extremely fast. The Retina 4K display is crisp and clean. I can have several apps open with no degradation of speed or performance.

Highly recommend this model, blazing fast with great graphics. This model with the 1TB Fusion drive was worth the extra $200. The base model with the standard HDD is considerably slower.
