what can I say about Apple, this is my third Apple machine and the idea this time was to get faster, better looking results from my video editing. I am a professional in the video business and now all my machines are Macs. This one is the fastest and has the best looking display so far. I am using the Adobe CC suite for my business and this machine handles it beautify.

Simply the best home computer I've ever had. Beautiful, fast, rugged, and functional. I'm a lifelong Windows guy.......or, well I was. While I've always been skeptical of Apple, they have the best products.

really good size of the screen, amazing resolution and incredible fast processor. I wish I could take more advantage from all this mac offer. I definitely would recommend this mac.

Bought to setup for a friend, and saved a few bucks from a Open Box Buy. The resolution on this thing is crazy. How awesome to be be able to have multiple windows open, and see everything clearly. Obviously full screen web pages do not utilize the whole screen. I recommend sitting back a bit farther than usual, just so you can appreciate all the detail. When the new OS X comes out, I believe this type of a resolution will be ever better with the new management they'll have for multiple windows.

As will all iMacs, a grey desktop system. Not overly powered, but with the monitor, an amazing deal. Fifth iMac, and this is a nice improvement in terms of performance, but the screen is amazing. Literally showing it off to everyone. It's a bit of a novelty, as other than photo editing, not of a huge use. Makes everything easier to read, clearer, and nicer, but nothing is in 5k that you can view, or even in 4k. Given this, would still pay the extra few hundred for the 5k as it is impossible to explain. Those that love macs will love this system. Those that love macs and love 'neat tech things' will love this model.

Just like any other Apple products, this iMac is simply great, it's definitely worth the money, screen resolution is amazing, super fast processor, very user friendly.

Bought this computer to record music and cannot believe the difference it made from a Windows PC! Everything moves exceptionally fast without any bogging down during mixing. I was a little disappointed that the keyboard comes without a numeric pad. For the price of the computer you would think this would come standard?! Had to buy an aftermarket Logitech, but other than that I love the computer!

I was doing a lot of video recording with a GOPRO camera and needed something really fast for editing and converting.. this was the machine for that. I had always been a PC Windows guy but I am now a MAC convert. Does all the browsing, email, and document stuff with included software, and just eats up the video and photo editing and keeps asking for more. See ya Windows.. Im never going back to a PC. Oh and did I mention that the 5k display is just incredibly awesome!

The fact that the entire computer is integrated with the monitor is awesome. The computer is extremely fast and the screen resolution is extreme;,clean and crisp.

Simply the most beautiful screen I have ever seen. Fast, sleek and worth the extra bucks. This Mac is a winner.

Finally decided to purchase an iMac after being a Microsoft owner from the onset. I should have made this change years ago. The retina display is stunning, the wireless keyboard and mouse are easy to use and the speed is so much faster than my previous PC. Apple really is the best product in the PC world. I have had it for a month now and did add an external DVD drive, but it is worth it and I am happy I made this purchase.

Lifelong Windows user...was looking for a computer for my wife and we fell in love with the 5k display on the 27in frame. Must admit, it just works...found my wireless printer without having to load any 3rd party software, also found my HD camcorder with no problem. Very easy to run multiple programs on the massive screen. Expensive, but really liking it!

Best Buy had a great deal just as my wife's 2008 MacBook Pro GPU finally suffered the fate so many others have experienced. Needless to say, she's thrilled with the 5k display and order of magnitude processing improvement. I'm tech savvy enough that I'll upgrade the RAM to max it out at 32GB. Other than the RAM upgrade, it's a beast and will handle anything we'll throw at it. Obviously a splurge but well worth every penny!

This is my first iMac, though I've used and own MacBook Pros. The display on this iMac must be seen to be believed. It is so clear and sharp. The speed the machine boots up with is super fast. I tap the space bar, my login screen appears. Type my password and its ready to go. No lag time with the fusion drive. Programs open quickly. Mouse and keyboard are wireless and very responsive.I love this machine.

Simply put this computer ROCKS!! The display is gorgeous, every image you take with your phone or camera looks incredible on this screen. Try watching 4K content on this monitor. I own a 4K TV and the display on this computer is ten times better than that! If you were on the fence about purchasing don't be. Apple's quality and craftsmanship show through with this piece of hardware. The simplicity of design and ease of use make this computer perfect for anyone especially the photographers out there.

I can write pages and pages about this iMac but I will spare you the time so you can get out and buy one. This is such a pleasure to use. The 27 inch Retina Display is crisp as crisp can be. Easy to use, fast, slick and without a billion cables between the desktop and monitor. Every day I keep asking myself why I kept using the Windows machines all these years..... I definitely recommend.

The 5K iMac is a computer powerhouse. It's very fast and the display is amazing. I am very pleased with this purchase.

The 27"iMac Retina is a very powerful machine. I'm not sure I needed all of its power but I thought over buying might allow me additional time before it becomes outdated. I don't create/edit 4k video or watch 4k NetFlix at my desk but it is a physically beautiful machine and the display really is peerless. I have an iPad and an iPhone but this is my first Mac. I am slowly learning the OS. I do like the gestures on the Magic Mouse, very slick. I don't like how Apple is moving closer to locking out any user performed hardware upgrades. I probably would have been fine with the 21.5" iMac but I wouldn't have been able to upgrade the RAM in a few years as the iMac slowed down. I imagine the next generation won't allow any user installed upgrades so this may be my last Mac for that reason alone. The Apple product integration is very nice. I can send and receive text messages as well as answer iPhone calls on the iMac. I haven't messed around much with the included apps but when I have used them, I liked them. There is a 4k time lapse desktop app called Magic Window available on the app store [$9.99] that is well worth the cost. I may add a Magic Trackpad if the additional gestures it provides look like something I would use. The iMac Retina does everything it promises. If you need all that power than it is worth the substanial cost. ---Kudos to Best Buy for their price matching policy.

This is my second 27" iMac. My first is 7 years old and still in use. Apple has made transferring data between computer sooooo easy and of course the graphics is outstanding for my photo work. With this new iMac I also purchased parallels so that I can use my iMac for programs that only run on windows. Works great and I can still use my mac (love the keyboard) for pc work.

This is by far the best iMac yet. The Retina display is simply stunning. I use this machine for Photoshop and other image editors and have not been disappointed. The power keeps up with the demands while you revel at the display.
