This is our 2nd 27 inch IMAC and we just love them. still have the one we bought in 2007 and it still runs just as fast as the day we bought it and with no virus protection.

The screen is magnificent. I love editing my photos on this computer. It allows me to almost see my 24mp images at 1:1 with all my tools in Lightroom. Computer is fast.

Bought as a gift for my child's 21st birthday. He has a MacBook pro which he has used for 6 years and was quite surprised with this gift. He says he knew it would be great but the iMac has far exceeded his expectations.

Excellent buy iMac 5k.it is awesome computer with excellent display and fast.Only thing I noticed is the keyboard which drain battery a lot other wise it is great. Bestbuy staff was great explaining every thing.thx

I purchased this beautiful machine to replace my old PC. I'll never go back to a PC and can't believe I waited so long to switch. The 5K display is simply spectacular. It's huge too. You will probably want to change the view to 200% when running your typical MS Office Suite programs because they will be pretty small because of the resolution of this screen. Photoshop, Lightroom, Movies, Powerpoint.... All amazingly smooth, fast, and crystal clear. I cannot say enough about this awesome computer.

I had previously bought my first 2 computers at Best Buy, both were nice in the beginning but after time they got slow and useless. When I purchased them, they were top of the line computers, but the operating systems were the crappiest, sorry to say that but it's true! The first one came with Windows Millennium, big ugly monitor too but flat screens were not around yet. The second one came with Windows Vista, which I upgraded to Windows 8.1 but still sucked! Now with this 27" iMac Retina 5K, everything is blazing fast and I haven't had any problems with. Such a beautiful monitor and not a lot of wires. I hope this last me a long time. I will upgrade memory soon, thanks Best Buy for an awesome sale price, cheapest I found online!

Beautiful design ,eye popping display clarity, and lightning fast processing. Once you go Apple, you never go back.

We replaced our aging Windows Laptop with the new Retina iMac 5k 27" screen and this was the best decision ever! Mac is so easy to use plus we already have experience having owned other iOS devices. The machine is super fast with the fusion drive and the 3.5ghz quad core CPU. This will last us a long time with the ability to upgrade the components yourself. The screen has so much real estate to be able to open up multiple windows at the same time. Highly reccommended!

I purchased this iMac to replace an iMac that I purchased in 2008. It is a great computer and the display is amazing! For quality and performance you can't go wrong with the iMac with retina display.

Used a laptop for many years, so I was hesitant about buying a 27" iMac. I love it, especially for photographs and reading newspapers online. The wireless keypad and mouse make it so easy to use.

Computer is fast and so easy to set up the I was a windows user but after using this Imac I do not miss my old Windows computer. Gald that I changed.

I finally threw in the towel for my 08 Macbook bro for this monster and am so happy. The screen is amazing, the trapped is awesome and I discover new things every time I am on it. Great job Apple

Very nice computer to look at with a great screen. I wish these iMac's at Best Buy had just an SSD hard drive and not the Fusion drive which would help disk speed performance and simplify things.

I had the 21" and just had to do the 5k 27" the screen is simply amazing, so clear and fast and big lol This thing is just beyond expectations.

I started using apple computers about a year ago and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. The way they work together with my iPhone and iPad and MacBooks is intuitive and seamless. And this computer is a BEAST. The screen size and picture clarity are unsurpassed. I own a 4K tv and side by side, the iMac picture blows the TV picture out of the water. I plugged this in, signed in with my apple id, synced it with my Time Machine and BAM I was good to go. Once I added in a trackpad, it became an invaluable part of my computing experience. I own several businesses and also use it for personal use, as well as my daughter using it for her high school homework. Just amazing.

If you are thinking about buying an iMac, take a serious look at this model. The speed of the solid state drive makes this iMac fly. I know it is a bit more costly than the other models, but if you get annoyed watching the spinning color wheel of death on your current machine, you need this one! It runs the latest version of Yosemite without any modifications at all. And did I say it was fast?

Thought a 27 inch monitor was too big...no it isn't. Fits great on my desk along with minimal hardware as the keyboard and mouse are wireless. I did add a CD for up/down loading work. I added software acrobat XI professional, Microsoft word student edition as all I needed was word, excel and powerpoint. I will install photoshop also as I am not sure what edition I need. A computer as great as this one is should be used in all respects of work and play.

Have had every iMac since Apple started making them. This is the best and fastest yet. Great machine for photography and demanding programs.

The 5K Retina Display provides a stunning display. It's so good that it's easy to forget about work just admiring the graphics! And then there's the performance of this computer - superb!

I thought that I knew what the best display looked like when I purchased my 1080p TV. I now know that it pales in comparison to higher resolution monitors. This iMac is a great product which does exactly as promised, delivers a great display while handling all your computing tasks. I cannot hear the fans at all. There is a little lag that I am not used to since I purchased my Apple SSD laptop but other than that, it is a great product for which I am absolutely satisfied with. I highly recommend this product!
