Had the 2011 imac, Started acting slow , had trouble loading large apps. Not only is this new computer faster, but the screen quality and resolution greatly improved as well. Paired with the new magic touch pad. Amazing.

This is my first Mac, and it is. A lot different than the windows computer. Don't like that it loads everything from my iPhone to the computer because of the Apple ID. Other than that is great.

This was my first Mac purchase. I decided to buy a Mac after multiple PCs kept quiting on me and couldn't handle my work load. I always knew Macs were worth the price and now that I own one I can definitely back that claim up. The display is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! I use this to edit photos and videos at home and it handles everything very well. It renders my photos very quickly and I can edit videos flawlessly without complications. Took me a while to figure out the operating system, but thats what Youtube Videos are for. I have an iPhone and I love the fact that I can transfer files to and from the iMac very easily. The only complaint I have, is the fact that this huge 27in. all-in-one computer comes with a small keyboard. I do wish it came with a fullsize but I can always get one in the future.

After years as a PC user, I had problems with the desktop I purchased three months ago. Their support person said that while I had an extended warranty, it only covered hardware problems, not software. If I was willing to pay a mere $137, they could probably fix it. I told them I would fix it myself. When asked how I would do that, I told them I would junk it and buy a Mac. I bought this one and couldn't be happier. After years of putting up with constant updates, reboots, loading drivers, updating old drivers, and such, the Mac just works. No steep learning curve for the change as I worried about. It was something I should've done years ago. And Best Buy matched a lower price from a mail order camera place, which worked even better.

Kept looking and looking, hesitatant to pull the trigger on this purchase for awhile. I have everything else Apple and this was last (so far) item I wanted to complete the set! I have a MacBook Pro which I love, but wanted something bigger for my home office. Finally did it and am absolutely loving it! The 27" screen makes things so much easer. I can load three programs on the screen and use them all - copy and paste, drag and drop or just use references for my work piece. The screen is so clear you don't get the red eye when working for several hours. I will do a review of the MagicTrackpad separately but strongly suggest getting it to use with this set up. The screen is huge so it takes forever to use a mouse to maneuver around! I use these for general home projects: bills, research, email, writing and streaming.
