Great Resolution. Easy to learn. The Slim Design is perfect for any desk.

My previous iMac was 5 years old so I decided it was time for an upgrade. I have been very pleased with this purchase. The larger screen is very convenient for having multiple folders or windows open. The best thing is the speed. The fusion drive is great! I bought separate DIMM memory modules and installed them to get 16G RAM. The computer is everything I had hoped for, no complaints at all. The only thing is that the internal internal hard drive is 1 TB and the system takes up almost 2/3 of the hard drive space. I bought a separate 8TB external drive, but still, if I had known I would have gotten the 2TB hard drive.

Love the interface. Kinda limited for games and such but has it's perks. Size does matter and a 27 inch screen makes a lot of difference. Work or streaming videos. Fast response. Though steep price for a name brand.

Apple makes the best home computer on the market and this represents that product line. This is a very fast computer. The iMac was expensive and all Apple products are but you get what you pay for. Apple computer last 6 years on average. PC's, 1.5 years. This is a very good choice if you're looking for a very nice computer that will last for years

This a good computer. the screen is to die for, and overall a nice performing computer. However, that said I found the fusion drive a little slow. decided to run an external SSD instead and that sped things up considerably. a plus is you can also update the ram. You will not go wrong if you buy this as long as you know you are getting. unfortunately for me, this was not the right purchase and returned it for a macbook pro as i needed a larger screen.

I’ve had this iMac for almost 3 years now, and I gotta say I’m impressed. I’m a programmer so I do a lot of coding, I have virtual machines for windows and linux using parallels, and I also do some video editing. The performance of this computer is really good, you would not notice that it’s 3 years old. What I love the most is the screen, even though it looks outdated because of the big bezels, the quality of the screen is insaneeeee!!! It looks way better than my other LG HDR 4k monitor that I recently bought. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it doesn’t come with an SSD, and the fusion drive that it comes with is really slow since it’s mainly a regular HDD and for the price of it, I don’t think it was fair. Having said that, I bought a 512gb sandisk portable SSD and installed MacOS in there and it runs incredibly fast, no lags no anything, just make sure it’s a type c drive, and stick it to the back so it never disconnects. Overall, im pretty happy with it. I usually tend to upgrade my stuff very often but I haven’t felt the need to upgrade from this one. Love the screen!!! I really recommend it, as long as you get an ssd as I said before (you will see the difference!!!)

So far so good! Im leery of giving a raving review just yet because I only made this purchase because my previous desktop randomly died and was not fixable due to being considered vintage after only 5 years. Don't expect this one to last too long either but its a necessary evil unfortunately for what I do. Screen is beautiful, I love the large high quality screen especially after looking at other non apple screens in the store. Seems fast unless I have a lot of programs open or browser tabs. Happy with this model choice, I would just be happier if it were BY luxury choice instead of force.

This is my first iMac and this 27” iMac has far surpassed my expectations. Best Buy was awesome with price matching. Runs All my games at high settings. Runs Final Cut Pro very smooth. Installing Windows 10 via bootcamp was also very easy. This computer does everything I expected and more. The screen resolution makes the experience by far better than any other. I was questioning the audio because the grills for the speakers were so small, but audio speakers are amazing. The iMac also has a built in mic somewhere. Not sure where it is, but it works. Overall great buy and very satisfied.

I have been wanting a Mac for a LONG time. After GeekSquad could not fix my windows laptop I said no way to another Windows platform and applied my warranty gift card to this beauty and I will never go back. The set up...easy and FAST and guess what?!?!...no junk games and unwanted features you never use sucking up the space and continuing to pop up on you. The picture quality is stunning and I can run Photoshop, Lightroom, Internet open emails and answer texts and nothing is slowed down at all, Photoshop opens in 10-15 seconds if that, my life is much better now with this gem!

If you like this brand of computer, this is a good one and I got it on Black Friday deal so I felt a little better about the amount I spent. But if you're not an Apple fan, you can find something similar at a cheaper price point. I went with the 27 inch because it has easy access to upgrade it with aftermarket RAM where as the smaller computer does not.

Purchased the iMac for my Dad’d 70th Birthday. He loved his IPhone and IPad so this was a natural selection. Large screen for him to see and the setup was easy. My only complaint is the the keyboard is super small so he kept his old keyboard.

I bought the base 5k iMac for a couple hundred off in an open box deal. I’ve since added RAM, & I’m still floored by how well this ‘display’ performs as a primary home computer. It’s awesome as both our ‘family’ computer, as well, our go to machine for editing photos/videos & audio, finances, and as our ‘central server’ for all things media. I use Plex & iTunes and store the media on an external Thunderbolt 3 storage system - along w/home sharing, it’s amazing how much computer they get into this $1500 display!

I am a firm Mac believer, and the new iMac is just one more reason for loving Mac! It is so simple to travel from an old mac to a new one.... just a time machine plugged in, updated, and you can take every single thing from one machine to the next....clean, quick, easy. And, you also can leave behind anything that you do NOT want to take from one to the next. I debated between the 21 and 27 inch model... my son said that he finds in his world he is willing to run up a flight of steps to work on the 27 inch as opposed to the 21 inch on his desk. That was my selling point. this is my 4th Mac... and i have never been disappointed. The support from apple care is awesome...efficient, and very thorough. I am a happy new iMac owner!!

After years as a PC user, I had problems with the desktop I purchased three months ago. Their support person said that while I had an extended warranty, it only covered hardware problems, not software. If I was willing to pay a mere $137, they could probably fix it. I told them I would fix it myself. When asked how I would do that, I told them I would junk it and buy a Mac. I bought this one and couldn't be happier. After years of putting up with constant updates, reboots, loading drivers, updating old drivers, and such, the Mac just works. No steep learning curve for the change as I worried about. It was something I should've done years ago. And Best Buy matched a lower price from a mail order camera place, which worked even better.

My Notebook Pro was 10 years old and while it served me very well, I needed the new features on recent IOS which were not available to me on the laptop. I do a lot of photography work sop the l;arge screen is most appreciated. I decided to go with this rather than a laptop since, with my iPhone 7 and iPad Mini 4 i never took the previous machine with me anymore. EVERYTHING, from ease of use to speed, about the iMac is superb. It has fulfilled my needs better than expected.

It’s an adjustment switching from Windows to an iMac but I’m glad that I did. The picture is very clear. Processing is lighting fast. I’m looking forward to figuring out all that it’s capable of.

After having used a Windows PC for many years, I finally decided to switch to a Mac after my last computer broke. I'm very pleased with how well this runs and how great the display looks. The fusion drive, bigger display, and self-changeable ram slots on this computer are 100% worth the extra cost from the 21.5 in iMac. I was able to purchase an extra 16GB of ram on my own for a total of 24GB. This is the fastest and smoothest computer I've used so far.

I had no idea that I would love my new desktop, mostly have used my macbook prior to this. I am completely in love with the large screen and all the aspects of my macbook, very easy to use.

This computer is obviously not for everyone given its price, but it is more than worth holding off and saving for this one. The screen is better than anything I've ever seen before...no exaggeration. Don't waste your money paying Apple for RAM - get the model with 8GB of RAM and upgrade yourself (takes 60 seconds) up to 64GB. I've added up to 32GB and I swear programs open before you're done clicking on them!
