    Fell in love with the computer in store. All I wanted for the last year was to add a iMac to my Apple collection. I went in to my local store and was going to buy a new Mac but the salesman showed me a open box iMac (same one) for 250$ cheaper. So of course I bought it. Got home and set up was shot. I wasn’t able to even get the computer to get to the main screen for set up. Took it in to have checked out (because I still wanted it) and the geek squad guy said if there is a problem after less than 12 hours then just return it. So I did and they had to “inspect” the Mac before I could return it (which should’ve been done before I bought it as well). Instantly powered on to a failed screen and the geek squad guy told me the motherboard / hardrive is trashed... so how did I manage to get to purchase a trashed 1500$ iMac. Also I was told they will not match a price of any other open box iMacs. So i got my money back and will never purchase an open box product from Best Buy again. This was my first and last try at giving an open box product a go and it failed. Buy New.

    Office 365 can’t be activated on this product

    I bought both an iMac and a MacBook on 3/27 with the understanding that Offfice 365 would run on both. I have the same problem with both. The next day, I successfully installed Office on both computers, but I could not activate it on either machine. When I click on “Sign In” on the activation window, the window just goes blank and stays that way. Apple had me delete and reinstall with the same result, then said it wasn’t their problem, that I needed to contact Microsoft. Microsoft said they knew about the issue, it started the previous day, it must be something Apple did, and they didn’t have a solution but would contact me in 2 days on the current status. I have washed hour and hours on this and the computers are useless to me without Office. If you need to run Office, don’t buy a Mac.

    First of all. .. Let me say that this has nothing to do with Best Buy. I have been a customer of BB for about 30 years. Never had an problem with BB ever. With that said, I have my first bad review of a product I bought there. The first iMac purchase was going ok then the graphic card stated acting up. I took it back and bought the new 2017 iMac - 3 days into this purchase the keyboard stopped working with the Mac. typing took 3 minutes to write a sentence. I have to keep rebooting to get the Mac to work. just not happy with this purchase.

    My wireless keyboard stop working within the first month.It only works if it’s plug in.The battery in the keyboard stop working.
