It had been a few years since I had purchased a new iMac. So I had decided it was finally the time. 90% of what I need my Mac to do is for recording music via Logic Pro X and video production for my YouTube channel. I really wanted to LOVE the 27” iMac but... I didn’t. I ended up taking it back to BB after only a few days for the MacBook Pro which was smaller, but FASTER, and portable. The 15” MacBook Pro is (IMO) the clear winner. From the moment I picked up the 27” iMac I was thinking... did I make the right decision... but from the moment I got the 15” MacBook Pro with the touchbar, I have been 400% happy with the move. Thank you Best Buy for your patience and help thru the process of finding my new Mac.

Best resolution, but unfortunately that's it. I wish I could return it. Slow opening up programs, slow saving office docs. Also, it comes with a non-numeric keyboard which is a shame for Apple. They sell a numeric keyboard separately for over $129, yes, for $129; you can buy a Chrome Book for that price. It should come with the package after paying a lot of money already. Very disappointing purchase for me. I bought this just because of high resolution and 4K...

I know my way around my Windows-based laptop @ find the transition to Apple difficult. To get some of my files read require an app of some kind, often at a cost. Customer support has been of no help. At this point, I am still using my old Windows computer and the I-Mac is just taking up space.

After many years of owning a pc I was excited to try my first Mac. Although it’s fine it is not spectacular. It does not have a touch screen or any of the other features windows PCs have come out with. Plus I HATE the Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. I have nothing but problems with the mouse and it needs to be charged all the time.

I had bought this less than a month ago as part of our professional photography business to replace our outdated laptop. Not even three weeks in and it is slower than the 5 year old laptop. It says it has an amazingly fast processor yet it is one of the slowest computers I have ever owned. Wouldn’t recommend!

Needed a new laptop and got talked into this monstrosity. Fonts are too small, not user friendly, and cannot use a file transfer program to get my files from my pc laptop without paying someone almost $200. Have had to call Apple Support several times and haven’t had it a month yet. Doesn’t want to work well with my iPhone 6

Overall a decent computer. I use it for my photography business and was hopeing it would streamline my workflow..... unfortunately it does not! It has major software issues with Lightroom. I read and many other photographers have had the same issues!

I like the computer however when not in use or it sits idle the screen goes pink and blue. When I put it to sleep mode, it turns back on, then sleep then on.... How can I exchange it?

Was not advised geek squad could not help in many instances but would have to go to Apple itself. No help in setting up, reviewing new features. Result: many problems w/ids, passwords, etc. Thinking of returning computer!

iMac 27’ was not any better then the one I got back in 2011. For all the money it cost I was disappointed.

These are so expensive. If you don't need to edit photos or movies, you don't need this.
