This iMac is all it’s cracked up to be. Fast, beautiful display, etc. I upgraded to 64 GB of RAM - much more affordable to upgrade than buy pre-installed by Apple

My old MacBook Pro was getting long in the tooth (almost 8 years) and I really needed to upgrade. The new 27-inch 5k iMac is just outstanding and the screen is amazing.

Been a long time Mac user, had switched from PC’s that kept getting slower and slower and viruses and dying every 3 years. When my MacBook Pro (2012) started having problems, I decided as a busiowner to upgrade and to go for a desktop that allows me a bigger screen and more power for video creation and all that. I love the speed of his Mac. Highly recommend it. Amazingly fast, sound is wonderful as I play my iTunes while working, the screen is stunning. I used to run 2 monitors, now, I don’t think I have the need for the second one. Highly recommend this product.

I've used PC's forever, or so it seems, so I was a bit reluctant to make the switch to a Mac computer...but I'm very glad I did! I love this computer for so many reasons. The screen, and the images it is able to produce, is amazing and brings a new vibrancy and detail to whatever it is you are viewing. There certainly is an adjustment period moving from one discipline to another but it was much easier then I had envisioned. Many things about the Mac are intuitive which makes the process simpler. Bottom line, I'm very glad I made the switch and am happy I've done so.

This computer is replacing a much older one and I am pleased with the new features, size, and performance of the system. Setting up the computer was pretty painless and I had it up and running in no time. I've always appreciated the ease in using Macs as they just seem to know what to do. Having Siri incorporated into the computer has been interesting but Alexa sure doesn't like me talking to her! It's an expensive piece of equipment for sure and they have definitely gone up in price since my last iMac. It's a great machine however and I look forward to using it for quite sometime.

This iMac is great for many reasons, my favorite aspects are: 5k screen upgradeable RAM powerful processor Access to Logic / Final Cut

This iMac is great. The speed, storage and quality of display is excellent. Meets all my needs.

Old iMac was always sluggish especially when I ran Parallels. This iMac with a Hybrid Drive solves the problem. Whereas programs used to take 30 to 60 seconds to load, most now load in 10 seconds or less. I added 16GB of additional memory (24GB total) and allocated 8GB for my Parallels Windows 10 applications. Now both OS X and Windows 10 programs run concurrently with essentially no degradation in performance. Also love the high resolution screen. Now I can appreciate my higher resolution videos.

Solid build but I preferred the older model with a built in CD drive. That is the only change not for the better. The iMac looks great, have you seen the 5K display? The 2017 model is a major upgrade from my 2011 iMac.

Our new iMac is fast and has great picture resolution for my wife's photography passion. We are also using the new iMac in conjunction with our older iMac. Just a nice computer with its size and ease of operation.

This is a huge upgrade from my Mac mini! Love the screen size and speed of the computer and loads of storage!

Used nothing but PCs for 20 years so there has been a learning curve. Very impressed with performance and have not had too much trouble "re-learning" how to do things. Love the syncing between the iPhone and the IMac. The price is premium but so far the hardware seems to be worth it. Expect to change to 5 stars when I finish the "re-learning" process.

With my old PC, every time there was a software change or update, it would create problems. After decades of working with pcs at both work and home, I am trying a mac. The transition was easy once I became familiar with the basic methods of negotiating around the mac. This one has a beautiful screen that makes it very easy to see very small details, good for my amateur photography work. It boots up and shut's down quickly and without a fuss. The only reason that I did not give it five stars is that even with the large case, it does not come with a built in CD/DVD/BR drive. I have a very large collection of CDs and use iTunes to load many different iPods and I should not have needed to purchase a separate CD/Blu Ray drive.

The 2017 27" iMac is everything you would expect from an Apple product - beautiful, powerful, and at times, frustrating. Let me start by saying that OS Mojave is the best iteration of Mac OS to date - so if it's been awhile since you have ventured over to the world of Apple, now might be a time worth considering. The iMac is beautifully designed but with that design is the major trade-off of very limited customization (in essence you can add/remove RAM and that's about it).... the lack of customization doesn't bother me at all, but it may be a deal breaker for some. What you trade-off in customization you gain with simplicity and seamless integration with other apple devices. For me, the pros greatly outweigh the cons and I would highly recommend this device for anyone looking for a beautifully designed and powerful all-in-one.

I upgraded from a 2010 iMac, and I love this computer! The screen is so bright & vibrant. I had to upgrade the memory because I'm using lots of graphics programs, which you can do yourself EASILY. It's as easy as unplugging, pushing one button & popping the memory slots in. They made it really easy this time. I saved a lot of money doing it myself.

The only complaint I have is that it is missing an internal cd/dvd Drive. It is just inconvenient. Luckily I already had an external drive so it did not matter. Overall, this is the best computer I have ever bought. I do own 3 non-Apple computers so I know the difference. I’m not taking upgrades as often and I do have a lot of comparable apps that are just as easy to use as those on the Windows based computers.

This is the 2nd one I’ve had I love it. I out grew the first one. Had it updated to the max. Used it for years. Now I got a big iMac that will hold me for years to come !!

The longevity of this computer is amazing. So far ahead of the competition...no comparison. You will go through 2 or 3 pc's before you would have to upgrade this machine.

Incredible display. Fast processor. Sleek design. Overall a great product by apple.
