Just upgraded from an old 27 with Retina Display. Overall, I'm satisfied with the improvements Apple has made. Plenty of ports with good performance. New screen with greater adjustability in terms of brightness and color temperature is outstanding. Photo and video editing is lightning fast. If your current Mac is at least three years old, this is definitely an upgrade worth buying. I would have given five stars but for two quibbles. First, Apple should make it easier to change out the hard drive. Right now you can't do it without voiding the warranty (not good). Second, there should be an easy way to connect a VESA arm onto the back to get this huge screen up to proper eye level. I give it a solid B+ to A- score and do recommend this product.

I would definitely buy this again! Easy to set up, ready to go right out of the box! I've fully gone Mac and ain't going back to a PC, what an improvement!!!

I have never bought this expensive of a computer but now see why people swear they will never go back to PC

Does exactly what I bought it for I run Parelles on it so I can use my programs that only come in Windows format and it handles this with no problem.

I cannot express what a powerful desktop this is. The OS X really magnifies so many tools for anyone. I strongly recommend this desktop to anyone.

This was my first Mac product - after 20+ years of windows, I definitely had a learning curve. Frustrating for a while, but once I learned how to "navigate" the computer, it is GREAT. The large screen, no tower, wireless keyboard and mouse, few wires, it was a tremendous upgrade for us. A great product.

I was in dilemma whether to buy i7 or wait for upcoming Mac release. At the same time I had to keep budget in mind. I primarily use it for music production and browsing. My 2009 imac was now showing signs of age. It is working perfectly for music production. No crashes so far. I plan to upgrade RAM in couple of months. Best buy price matched also.

My first impression is excellent. If I get a call on my iPhone I can pick it up on my IMac. Comparing the same program on a PC, it runs much faster and seem to work better even with less ram when multitasking. I only wish I purchase the computer with a numeric keyboard. As a long time pc user, I find the iMac intuitive and easy to learn.

This is the second one purchased , use them for photography and video editing. Display is fantastic and performance is everything I need.

I purchase this iMac to replace a Late 2009 model I had, and hope to have this one for many years from now. This "All In One" Desktop is fast, upgradeable, lightweight, the right size, convenient, easy to use (its a Mac), and allows me to seamlessly edit family 4K movies with iMovie. You wont regret to put your hands on this powerfull tool.

I love it I couldn't be more pleased with it, very powerful very fast, the 5K is so brilliant, I recommend it highly five stars.

My productivity has increased since purchasing this computer, the simple yet elegant operating system makes this possible. This unit is very fast and the screen is amazing. I have also discovered the ability to run Windows OS via Bootcamp which allows me to put that graphics card to use with almost any game out right now.

This replaced a 2009 model and what other computer lasts 10 years? Nice big screen and constant OS updates that just keep making it better and better. Productivity software is not MS Office but it does the trick and was included for free. iMovie and Garage band are super easy and fun to use.

Wasn’t sure about moving from an HP and learning a new system. I have an iPhone and iPad and liked the idea of an iMac. I’m glad I made the purchase. It wasn’t difficult to figure out and now all my stuff works in sync. I love the huge screen and the memory to hold and edit all our photos

I had an older Mac that was finally on its last leg - lasted 10+ years but was showing signs of age so this was the replacement. No surprise Apple has made many advancements since my last purchase - this machine is much quicker and more capable. I am hoping it lasts me just as long if not more.

I’ve been a PC gamer ever since the pentium 3 and voodoo graphics. This is my very first Apple computer and I am very impressed!! I know everyone says you don’t buy a Mac to game, but you can’t beat the screen quality and the ability to run an external videocard. It’s by far the best all-in-one out.

This is a replacement for my wife's eight-year-old iMac that is failing (not totally failed yet!) and is far superior to its predecessor. It is lighter, thinner, much faster, and has beautiful graphics, although it does not have an internal optical drive. Nevertheless, she loves it.
