This cable is fantastic. I have 2 older apple brand that are frayed. Figured I would get this for when one stops working. Been several months and both still work fine. I could leave them anywhere and no one would think they would work. Also the only cable that fits my older lifeproof case for iPhone 6.

I usually buy aftermarket accessories, but they tend to break or not work very well after a bit of use, so I decided to spend the extra cash to get the Apple brand, and I'm glad I did. My devices charge in less time than they did with the aftermarket products, and the cable holds up much better. I would definitely buy this again.

I bought several after market cables that all frayed at the connector. This one hasn’t after heavy use. I guess the adage you get what u pay for is true. Spend the extra couple dollars up front to save on time and frustration from replacing other brands over and over.

I previously purchased a lightning cable form a different after market non Apple brand. It basically died on me in a year. Meanwhile the lightning cable that came with my Apple product still works fine. So I recommend buying the original Apple accessories or suffer the consequences of buying the same product twice!

I wanted an Apple brand charger cord to charge my iPhone in my car and still be able to hold the phone. This seems to be a great length. I also bought the adapter so I can charge the phone plugged into a wall outlet too. Everyone says to stick with the Apple brand for Apple phones so I did.

Don’t use the cheap after market, knock off brands. Spend a little more and buy the Apple charger so you don’t damage your equipment. I let my rewards points build up and used the $5 coupon on the charger. It brought the price to $16.99+ tax. Definitely worth it

My old cord went out and replaced for my IPhone 5. As it turned out it was the other piece that went out and not the cord so returned cord and got the piece that connects to the electric outlet......Even though I returned the cord it is an excellent product and will buy again should my old one go out.

Was searching around for charger, came across a few off brand chargers at Dollar General and Family Dollar that were $15. Decided to come to Best Buy and get the official Apple Charger for only $8 bucks more. Well worth it, knowing I have the best possible charger for my iPhone.

I have come to find out that the apple chargers just work better on the apple products. I was buying the other cheap chargers over and over and after a little while they would just stop charging my phone. But the apple products seem to work longer and they charge the apple products faster.

Bought this cable to replace a generic one that didn't last. Learned the hard way that it is worth spending the extra money for an Apple cable. The cheaply made cable that we purchased a few months ago worked well for a few weeks and then had connection issues. This cable has given us no problems.

Its an original apple product that will actually not break as did the other cheap one I bought. It is definitely worth the price to buy instead of having to replace every few months with imposters that say they will work with my iphone. Best Buy guarantees products if they break anyway so I trust buying things here.

You get what you pay for! I've purchased numerous no-brand cables at a cheaper price to only have them fail after a few months; a couple of my devices seem to have charging defects - don't know exactly if the cheap cable attributed to this, but I'm sticking to Apple cables for my Apple products at this point.

I've gone through so many knockoff brand chords. But the apple brand last the longest and most durable. If you are very careful with the off brands they may last a long time. But with these you don't get the "not compatible..." Message. Just wish they were cheaper.

I have bought a lot of cheap cords for my iPhone 5 and 6. That stopped working after 2 weeks. I finally decided to stop buying the cheap 5 dollar knock offs and get the real thing. So I spent the 20 bucks and got it. Haven't been disappointed and has lasted. It also charges my phone faster I've noticed.

As we know the cheap ones break the Apple ones break. The only difference is whether it breaks in days/weeks vs months. I was tired of getting not a certified apple product and picking up another $5 cord every month. Went back to the Apple cord and am glad I don't have to stop and or order another cord monthly. Again, I know this one will do the same breakage at the phone end of the plug but am hoping to get a year for my $20.

I never thought I would say but apple, but having bought three, yes three, other brands including one stocked by Best Buy, I found they weren't charging or connecting to the iPhone. Same challenge with the iPad. So yes, stick with apple. You get what you pay for.

This is a very nice piece of technology. Not supprising as it is an apple product. But with that comes a significant increase in cost. There are less expensive products that I have not tried, but I tend to try to stick with the apple products to avoid issues.

This is a replacement cable for the cable I put in my car. The previous cable from a cheaper third party literally fell apart on one of the ends after about 5 months. The Apple cable that came with my phone is still going strong. Always get the real deal.

Replacing original cord with another Apple cord is more reliable than cheaper products. It also has small plug, so it fits easily through the intended port my Lifeproof case. It's more expensive, but worth it. ALso lasts longer than generic replacements. I wish there was an option to buy a longer cord.
