Ok its OEM, so there are no issues with compatibility or fitting tight cases; but that is to be expected. The real reason to buy one, other than it just works, is they just last longer than aftermarket cables. They are not bullet proof, and they will eventually fail; but they are good cables. Of course like most Apple products they are a bit pricey.

There's nothing better than an authentic Apple Product. For whatever reason, knock-off charge cords just seem to break and fall apart pretty quickly, whereas my Apple cord lasts 10x longer. It's fast, durable and lives up to the Apple name.

Always best to buy reliable products from the actual brand of your phone, please don't do knock offs. They always break to easily, apple products last longer an produce better results. Very long cord, 9 feet or so.

Although these genuine Apple lightning chargers are more expensive than the knock off brands, it is worth the extra money as these last leaps and bounds longer than the knockoffs. Highly recommend these to anyone with an apple product!

If you own any Apple products that use a lighting cable to charge/sync your device then this is the one for you. Tried many other cables and none holdup like the official Apple cable. They don't last forever but this one lasts the longest.

Not sure exactly why Best Buy thought that a lightning cable made by Apple needed to be reviewed, but there it is. Apple makes the best version of this cable, and the most durable. But still, if you carry it around with you, it will wear out.

This certified Apple lightning cord lasts longer than any of the "Apple compatible" brands. However, Apple products are more expensive. This one was on sale, so that made it absolutely the right choice for me.

This 3.3 foot cord is the perfect size for most applications (car, home, on the go, travel bag, etc). The cord itself is high quality, fits perfectly, even with most cases and is what you would expect from Apple (high quality).

I have bought 2 charging cables for my IPhone 6 from a few places but they were not Apple. They both broke around a month. I would advise to get the Apple cable. It is totally worth it. I haven't had a problem with my Apple cable.

When we need to replace our Apple charging/syncing cables, this is the only one we use. It is Apple certified and we know it will not hurt our Apple devices. They last a very long time with no spotty syncing or charging issues.

We use iMac desktop, iPad tablets, and iPhones. Seemed we didn't have enough convenient cables for using in the car, den, kitchen, bedroom... well, you get the idea. We thought we would save money by using non-Apple versions of the lightning to USB cable. They would work sometimes. Or the iMac would say we weren't connected anymore, in a series of alarms. We'd remove the iPhone cases to see whether they were inhibiting the connections. Sometimes. The Apple products were persnickety about recognizing the after-market cables. Finally, I walked into Best Buy and picked up the Apple cable. Plugged it in and all the headachy problems went away. Yes, you'll pay a premium for the Apple brand. And yes, it will work better. They designed it to be the one and only good choice.

The best cable on the market due to the fact that it is made by Apple. I have had cables they made for over ten years. They keep on working. Only drawback is that they are slightly over priced but you are getting great quality.

I use the LifeProof case on my iPhone 6 and the OEM / Apple cable is the only one that will fit into the opening in the case. The Lightning-to-USB cable is strong but next time I will look to see about getting a longer one.

Do yourself a favor, do not buy or use a cheap cable and buy the original Apple cable. I bought a cheaper one and it lasted about 3 months then quit working. There's nothing like the original manufactures product...

I've purchased the cheap knock off chargers but they don't seem to work as well or last as long as the official Apple parts (which are unfortunately more expensive).

At first I didn't want to buy the USB wire because I knew I could get a cheap one from the bodega. Only thing is the non Apple wires only last a week long. The apple wire last a long time and charges my phone quickly.

I have repeatedly purchased this product from Best Buy and have been extremely satisfied with the performance and overall quality of the product. As with all Apple products the only issue I have is that they are expensive (not caused by Best Buy) compared to other products however, I'm a dedicated Apple user and will continue to be one.

I've tried other replacement brands for my iPhone / iPad, but I keep getting disappointed. Pay the extra $5 and get a genuine Apple product, it just lasts longer, fits better, and wont fall apart after a few weeks use.

I previously purchased off brand cords for my Apple products, and found that they stop working for me. Even though they are more expensive, I only buy Apple products for my Apple devices, and they always work for me.

My car won't accept any cheap cable I've tried to connect/charge my phone or Ipad except a certified Apple device cable. This one works great and it really wasn't that expensive to have the best.
