Apple products delivering quality as usual.... Bought as replacement after my original wire finally stopped working after nearly 7 years of very active daily use. I was happy to find out that this unit included the extension cord that connects directly to the adapter, as I thought I was going to have to purchase a separate extension cord later on.

The downside to any laptop is the need for a second power supply, or the need to crawl under a desk to plug in or unplug a power supply everyt time you need to move your computer. Thankfully Apple's power supplies are great quality and compact, allowing them to easily be transported with a laptop, without having to get larer bag. The MagSafe connection is a god-send, expecially around pets and kids.
