    These are always high ticketed, but I think this is so far the longest lasting version I've owned. Previous models burnt out within a year or started to fray. This one, and the original one that came with my macbook air, have both lasted. I like having an extra one to leave at work.

    After 4yrs the cord that came with my laptop frayed at a spot where it could not be fixed had to buy a new one. Decided to buy an Apple adapter instead of a knock off for about $30 less. Feel more comfortable with an original product. So far so good.
