Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my daughter's Macbook Air after speaking with a Best Buy associate working in the Apple dept. I showed him a picture of exactly which laptop she had and he said this was the charger for it. It DOES charge (hence the 3 stars) but it gets really hot. He told me that if it were to get hot then it wasn't the correct voltage for the laptop. So I will be taking it back...

Needed a macbook charger...

Extra long so I can use my laptop wherever I like without feeling like i'm choking it. Wish they were a bit more affordable but, what can you do. They say you shouldnt buy 3rd party charges for macbooks so I naturally bought Apple's legitimate offical charger and everything is ok.
