charges fast. safe. works well, Necessary product that works the best.

I bought a third party power supply for my MacBook Pro at first and it worked fine for a few months but then started making funny noises and taking longer to charge. Not wanting to hurt a $2,000 machine with a cheap power supply, I replaced with Apple brand. Works like a charm. A little pricey but would rather spend the money than burn up the machine.

The Charger is in brand new condition as stated online, and it works perfectly for my Macbook Air 2015.

This was just what I needed for my Apple. Not only does it allow me to charge my laptop, but I can move around the room because of the longer cord. The thicker cord makes me feel more secure as I work. I wish that I would have had one of these from the start.

Easy to find, worked as intended, still using years later

I bought this as a backup to my original power adapter that came with my laptop, because I travel to remote locations. It is an Apple product and true to form, is of excellent quality. It came with the detachable AC power cord and the AC plug adapter for plugging the power "brick" directly into the outlet. All packaging was original. I did test it and it works fine.

Really nice, charges fast. The original one that came with the MacBook had gotten brittle so I needed a replacement. I’m skeptical of replacements because they aren’t always the same quality. This was a relief it was exactly the same. Happy customer thank you

Good quality charger and easy to use. Charges my laptop quickly.

This is the official magsafe replacement power adapter. For ac adapters, I am leery of off-brand replacements, since I have seen more failures (and sometimes a power surge which caused a short in the laptop.) So far, the battery charges just fine, and lasts all day with both the origina, which I keep at work, and the replacement adapter I use at home.

I bought this to replace my power adapter that came with the Macbook Air I bought back in early 2014. The old one became frayed near the magnetic DC connector. I do wish Apple would redesign these cords so that they would last longer (as I've had the same problems with cords for a previous model and usb charging cables). Lowering the price wouldn't hurt either. But besides that, it's a great and reliable product. Hopefully, I won't have to buy another one as a replacement but if I do, I'll be getting it again.

Love this iteration of Apple’s charging cord ... because it is magnetic and cannot be damaged if pulled on at an angle - it just pops out! Also makes it very easy to connect even when you don’t have have good visualization of the port. Sadly, newer models of MacBook Air use the C connector.

I left my charger out of country and needed a replacement, fast! I ordered this charger for store pick up. I got a phone call from my local store saying their count was off, they did not have it in stock but would overnight it from another store for me for free. I picked it up the next day. Everything is as it should be, just like the original charger.

This charger is much better that the charger I received with my refurbished Mac. Apparently the charger I was given was a 60W and creating some shock when I would plug it into the outlet. The one the man advised me to get when that one broke does not do that and charges just ever so nicely.

I bought this adapter for my MacBook Air. I had lost my original ... bummer, because it was always very dependable. Anyway, I discovered after buying it that it's a 60 watt adapter and my MacBook Air requires 45 watt. I understand that, although it works, it might compromise the battery life of the MacBook Air.

Speeds up recharge time, extended cord is handy...

I purchased the 45W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter as a replacement for the power adapter that came with my MacBook Air. If you're purchasing this power adapter you're already part of the Apple family. The reason behind my review's title pertains to the fact Best Buy could not have actually checked this item prior to putting it back on the shelf as an Open Box - Excellent. First, the power adapter was shoved back inside the box and pushed together. The outer box that shows the picture of the adapter was humped on one side showing the inside contents. Second, the actual white block had the plastic wrapped back around it, half heartedly. When I pulled the plastic off I was slightly disgusted because there was debris that had dried onto the block. Meaning there was no way this was purchased and returned in a day or two. Third, the cable from the MacBook connector to the white power block has 3-5 kinks in the cable. It has charged my MacBook, but needless to say I'm returning it to Best Buy in the morning.

This makes 3 of these I've had, one came with my laptop and worked very well and has lasted at least ten years. My dog destroyed two in the 5 months I've had her

This product was well packaged. Not damaged. This charger worked perfectly for my MacBook Air from 2014. They were even able to recycle my old charger that did not work for no extra charge.
