Excellent device works well glad to have a spare one a little overpriced.

This works well. I bought a 3rd party powersupply from a local computer shop for a macbook before, and it only last a couple months. it qas also hot when i charged too. Since then, I never buy non genuine batteries and powersupplies.

My previous apple charger lasted over 5 years before breaking and I used it every single day! This charger is just as good, and I expect the same for my new charger. Charges quickly and is just the best!

I bought this because my laptop would no longer charge. My thinking was that my charger was broken. The new charger fixed the issue, but after my old charger sat unplugged for a few days I thought I'd try it one last time, and suddenly my original charger worked again. I had no use for 2 chargers, especially at almost $100 a pop, so I returned my purchase. After reading on some Apple forums, this is a seemingly well known thing. leaving a charger unplugged for a few days can help reset whatever is wrong with them SOMETIMES. In my case it worked and I saved myself some cash.

As with most Apple products, this is a bit pricey. The quality is top of the line and like most Apple products, it is reliable. I find it necessary to have one charger at home and one at work. This was the perfect solution.
