    Face it: the 3' cable that comes with an iPhone or iPad just usually isn't long enough to plug the charger into an available power outlet and reach your sofa or recliner where the device needs to be connected to charge while you're using it. The only gripe I have with this cord -- all of Apple's cords, really -- is that they aren't super-durable: seems like I end up replacing them too often because they become intermittent/damaged at the connectors. They need to be treated with extra care to avoid strain at these weak points.

    My friends DOG ate our MacBook charging cable! Bought this to replace it. Works fine, looks like the original. Expensive as are most APPLE items, hence the 4-Star. Other than that, we're back in business. Recommended if you need one.
