    I love how long this product is but after about a month of using it the cord started to break open towards the top of the cord where the plug to the phone meets it.

    Quality cable for charging at a good length. Disappointing that data transfer speeds are only usb-2 considering it is usb-c form factor.

    Inexpensive item to replace a part of the longer electrical charging wire. The cost of the whole charging wire was almost 4 times the part I purchased. The sales person was very helpful in advising the need for a part not the whole.

    Apple loves to gouge it's customers when it comes to accessories. These power cables as well as the transformer are ridiculously overpriced and it's frustrating. But you don't really have any other options. (on the transformer anyway). So you just pony up the cash and hope you don't have to buy too many of these.

    I always buy a second power adapter to go with a new laptop, but you shouldn’t have to buy a separate cable when you buy the adapter. I miss them being attached. This seems to be a flaw in Apple’s design.
