I don't think that I have seen technology as amazing as this. Thunderbolt 3 knocks all of it's predecessors out of the water - which includes USB-C, Thunderbolt and 2, Lightning, USBs. Now, I recommend that if you have the new '18 MBPs, you can either hook your charger there, or get the adaptable wall plug. My iPhone was dead, and it was a full charge capacity in under one hour. I have never seen data or a charge move so quickly before. Kudos Apple. Downside... Dongles, Dongles, and more Dongles. APPLE - FAIL. However, to lead in industry standards you have to be willing to step away from the pack. Apple did this time and it's paying off. It doesn't mean though that it should be your ONLY option. Take the folks along with you on the journey, no need to force their hand into it.

If you buy the new Apple charger to go with the new Apple iPhone or iPad, you must get this cord to go along with the charger. The cord that comes with the charger is too short, a longer cord is needed, especially if you are going to be laying on the couch or in bed while charging your phone.

The cable is a great length and so far it’s held up really well.

I had broken my original charger cable . I thought I would need to replace my entire charger . I Only had to replace the cable. I was due in a meeting and computer was at 5% . Thankfully it was in stock . Zoomed back into meeting .

Our MacBook was no longer charging and I suspected the cable was the problem. It looked like it had a kink in it, and my daughter uses it in bed, so that is a good guess. I was able to purchase it online and my daughter picked it up. Problem solved! I’m not sure if there is a non-Apple brand of this particular cable, but other than the price, you can’t beat this.

Personally not a big fan of apple chargers. They usually stop working around 6 months but the cord is different. So far, it’s been okay.

I bought this to extend my range of where I can charge my iPad, Excellent cable, works great, seems to be a a little thicker cable then the regular cable that comes with the iPad Pro. It has a white powder residue on it but I just wiped it down with a slightly damp cloth. Overall a good buy.

This power cord works with the plug in adapter. Needed an additional power cord for home. Wish I didn't need to purchase to separate items tho.

I wish these were standard issue cables when you buy an iPhone. The little short ones are always at least a foot too short to be worth using. We always upgrade to the longer cables. The Apple branded ones are not cheap but they definitely perform much better and last longer than generic cables

Convenient length and durable casing. Should last long time.

This cable serves my intended purpose, which was to extend to my charging stand on top of a vertical dresser. It seems to be more cheaply constructed and feels stiffer at the neck than the old Apple lightning cables. I haven't experienced any cracking with the cable yet, but I also don't have it in a location that it will experience much stress. Make sure you ask for a price match until Best Buy lowers the price - Apple sells the exact same cable on their website for $19.

I noticed this OEM Apple cable (usb-c to usb-c) is much sturdier than the short cable that came with my new iPad. Haven’t had any issues yet, but have only had the cable a couple of weeks. Unfortunately the cable, I believe, is still overpriced.
