Overpriced but quality.

It is also slightly thicker than the default cable so it feels more sturdy, and seems to work with fast charging Anker plugs. The only downside is how expensive it is compared to the cheaper made Best Buy brand. I only bought this one because I had a $5 off coupon from Best Buy after being in their rewards program for 10 years, and even then it was still overpriced. But that's Apple for you.

Stick with Apple
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did what any self respecting consumer does these days and googled what I needed, a 6 foot lightening cable for my iPad, and read several reviews from respected sources, and purchased the top 3 recommended products from Amazon, and did my own independent tests. All 3 were embarrassingly disappointing, were returned, and I ordered the Apple cord. Lesson learned.

Charging Cable

I knew too head to Best Buy for anything like this. I got the last one on the rack. It is heavy duty and the cord is longer than the one I broke. I was pleased with my purchase.

Best Lightning Cord

It costs a little more than the generics but it is well made and will last you for years. I highly recommend this Apple lightning cord to everyone.

Yes. It's a Lightning Cable, & It's Still Required

So here is the 2 meter model, which is an Apple product and allows some additional freedom of movement while waiting for the Welcome Sign of 80% battery level.

So I don’t have to be too close to the wall. Can stretch cord farther to charge. & charges pretty fast. Def recommend!

Power charge

I F you need a quick charge get you a usb-charger and you have to buy a new cord. The older cord does not work with this charger. This was all ok with me for the time saving charge I get with the new cube. $60 for this combo was all worth it.
