I thought this item was lighting cord as stated, which I thought my iPhone would fully charge very quickly than the one that came with my phone. Instead, it takes almost three hours to fully charge from about ten %. I'm disappointed. I would recommend but but not as lighting cord. I gave it three stars because of the regular charging time

These cords don’t last very long, they ravel over a period of time.

I purchased this cable exactly 1 year and 10 days ago. I paid $30 for it, it came with a 1 year warranty. I babied this cable because I know how expensive these cables can be. The insulation they use is not very durable and now the insulation is splitting. It’s a hazard now that the conductor’s are exposed. I’ve had an iPhone for at least 8 or so years and have had to purchase a cable almost annually. This is frustrating. Not to mention that the cable is yellowing near where the split is.

Disappointed with the functionality of this product, especially coming in from the famed Apple stable. This cable splits easy once bent from day to day use e.g. connecting to USB ports (car or home). I've had multiple instances of failure with this cable as we utilize all kinds of Apple products under the sun within the family. Note to self: Stop wasting money on this one and maybe try some cheaper after market alternative.

The cable does not always connect on the first attempts of trying to charge.

Cord is ripped & you have a 15 day return policy. I just found that out when I took it to your store @ they told me. I wish I would’ve known that before I purchased the Beats & Laptop. Wanted a TV but I may have to look somewhere else.

After a couple months the end started to fray. For the price they should last a lot longer.

Not sure what is going on with this, but my cord is already frayed and wires are exposing. Have to return or exchange soon.

These Apple Charging cords work great until the wire cover wears out, cracks and exposes the wires. This one is already shot. Shame on Apple

The salesman was very unhelpful on trying to get the item we we’ve looking for. That wasn’t in the store. It was out of stock and had to order it online and ship it to or address

I am not happy with this cable. This is the third cable I have purchased for my ipad and they all have ended up like this. For the cost the value is not there.

Who is good the first week until it broke and then the tip that goes into the phone just spilled fourth and 1 million pieces

Cable started deteriorating. This has never happened with any of my standard 1m Apple cables.

Bad material/ body of the charger falls apart easy

This is my 2nd Apple charger and I haven’t even had it a full year. There was a small spot that started tearing, and over the course of a few months it’s gotten worse and worse. This is a fire hazard at this point. I just purchased the Insignia charger instead of Apple, and I hope it’s better….

Probably many people have experienced how week this kind of items are. Particularly the neck of the cable is very weak and easily gets broken. The price is expensive given the lengh of time we can use.

Cord is already broken and I’ve only had it for a month. I have never had a cord tear on me I’m very cautious. I’m 3 days past when I can return it.

These break at a fast rate shortly after buying them. The skimpy rubber like material connector to the iPhone port a half inch down breaks so fast you will realize just how crappy these are made! So many complaints and no fix yet! Apple! COMMON!

Really loved watch for 4 days till i took my waterproof time swimming. Condensation developed. Pebble Time having issues right now with not being completely waterproof. Can't recommend at this point & time. Had the original pebble to for about 2 years till it developed an LCD tear.
