Expensive, but long lasting

I got this one as a replacement to my older, original adaptor which unfortunately snapped after 7 years of use. I wish Apple continued to make these. Also, I wish apple make the wire separate from the adaptor; so we don't have to replace the entire unit. This is an original product so it is a little bit on the higher side; but its always best to get the original accessory rather than risking blowing-up your $2000 laptop.

This was a like for like replacement of the power adapter that originally came with the MacBook pro. Expensive, but felt safer with this than a generic.

My laptop battery was draining to the degree I wouldn't be able to finish my project. I was happy the adapter that works for my laptop was still available. Customer service was great in helping me to make sure it was the correct adapter. I now have a power adapter for home office and office office. Thank you best buy it works perfectly
