Nothing beats genuine Apple power adapters.

But the power adapter itself is awesome. Don't settle for knock-offs or "compatible" replacements.

When purchasing the new Airs and Pros, I also picked up a few extra cords for the old Airs to have around the office. With the new cords being different, you need to pick up a few while you can. Your old Air will outlast the cord.

Good, if you keep it together

There is one potential problem. It consists of two pieces, and when you unplug it from the wall, the small piece may get stuck on the wall outlet. Maybe you won't notice it until you are far away from home, and then you will have no recourse, other than buying another full set.

Needed A Replacement On The Road

Plug and play. Works great. Easy to use. More expensive to purchase at a brick and mortar walk-in Best Buy than other sources on line, but was on the road and had an immediate need and thankfully found this one.

I saw my other charger has been starting to look destroyed over the past couple years and then it got frayed and about a week later it completely stopped working. Rushed to Best Buy and got a fair price and it works great!
