I bought this iPad for my younger siblings and it’s great. However, I only bought it a month ago and the left side of the iPad has warped and has a very noticeable bend. The other side is perfectly fine. My sibling have not dropped it from a significant height that would have caused this kind of damage. I know that Apple products have a history of warping, like the iPad Pro and a few of the older iPhones. I expected something that could last at least a year without warping, especially as a “latest model”.

This iPad replaced an iPad mini 2 (Retina), from 2015. On one hand, the upgrades are great. - Screen: Brighter, more colorful, TrueTone white balance adjustment. - CPU: A12 (2.5 GHz high performance dual core + 4 high efficiency cores) vs. A7 (1.3 GHz dual core) - RAM: 3GB vs. 1GB - Main Camera: 8 megapixel vs. 5 megapixel - Wireless: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac vs. 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0 vs. 4.0 - Physical characteristics: Thinner and lighter. Apple Pencil support. In actual usage, the new iPad mini feels great. Everything has a much snappier feel and you get much better graphics performance. Fortnite is able to run at 60fps on this new iPad! The iPad is a joy to use, but what lets it down is that the physical design, aside from being a little thinner and lighter than older models, is the same as what you could get six years ago. The new iPad Pros feel like the future, and the mini's design could use a refresh. The bezels are rather thick, and there is no FaceID, just TouchID. With the modern specs, the iPad mini is worth a purchase and will last you for years to come. With Apple Pencil support and the tech upgrade, it gives you a lot of what bigger iPads offer and will last you for years to come. It's just a bit disappointing that Apple didn't really touch the design at all.

Crispy, clear, and clean screen. Cute little thing. The wife and I use it but she uses it mainly. It's compact and ease of transportation. Smaller than the regular iPad but does not lack of performance. Screen is smaller but not too small. It's just perfect for looking at PowerPoints, Netflix, drawing, and gaming. Battery lasts all day as well, 2 days at least with occasional useage, worth it.

Love the size and quickness of the iPad mini. Easy to take anywhere, lots of storage, and Fast! This is a perfect size to put in my purse, use the camera when needed, and ready use in the car. Although a bit pricier than its counterpart, I was waiting for a sale. Best Buy matched Amazon's price , and I had the benefit of the Geek Squad to help me.

Wow! So much faster than the iPad Mini 4. The 5th Generation battery life is a great improvement over previous versions as well. I've owned the original iPad and downsized to the Mini version with this "Mini 5" being my third mini over the years. Apple keeps improving function, storage, and battery life. I don't know what I would do without my Mini! I read daily on it as well as oftentimes stream. It's the perfect travel size, especially with the screen size being larger than my cell and yet not overwhelming for handling. Love this new 5!

I bought this for my daughter after having an 9.7in iPad for a while- that she really loved. however, this iPad mini is the perfect size for her with the right amount of speed for playing roblox and the right amount of storage for all of her other games. It is her go to device. It is perfect for the size of her hands (she's 6). However even with messing around with the iPad myself, it is great for adults as well because of how compact it is. Not the full 9 or 10 inches as other iPads but also not as small as a general smartphone so it's good to carry around, read and respond to emails, check social media, watch movies/shows at work or on the go. Great camera as well.

I love this iPad. I wanted to have smaller tablet & this 1 fits the bill..seriously, good value for it's fast performance (it's got the same powerful processor that's in the iPhone XS). I like that it uses the apple pencil (ver1 ). It's small size makes for easy portability compared to a large iPad (I love the size & how light it is). True that it's the same size & those large bezels of prior minis, but this is my 1st mini & I seriously have no problem w the bezels. The battery life is good too.

Latest mini iPad is sleek, fits into a cozy purse . Fast, Light & slim , the fingerprint sensor feature provides easy unlocking. It’s fast enough for surfing, performance & price is impressive.Screen is vibrant and with a tap, it changes from light to dark mode. Transferring data also come easy .I am very happy with my mini iPad .Thanks to Best Buy; I was able to purchase the Sale Price ! It’s a very Good Buy, indeed !

Apple IPads in general are extraordinary devices which work seamlessly within the Apple ecosystem. The 5th generation mini is fabulous. It is lightning fast with a beautiful screen and as far as I am concerned all day battery life. The mini Works wonderfully for zoom conferences especially when paired with AirPods. 64GB of storage in the entry level model is more the enough storage for most everyone. Don’t pass the mini up when on sale.

I waited for this to come out! I had the mini 2 (2015) which was still in basically good condition, but it was slow by 2018! I almost bought the 4 but said no, since 2 was still working and I had the 9x7 Pro (2017). BUT once I heard the 5 was coming-now was my time! Even tho outside hasn't changed, I LOVE the thinner and lighter size! I didn't carry the 2 around (felt heavy), but this one goes almost everywhere--fits in my bag without hardly adding any weight-even with the simple softback lightweight case I got for it! Added a Zagg screen--and voila- set to go...PLUS uses the 1st gen pen--didn't have to buy another one! Fits nicely in my hand too. Speed great. Worth the buy--plus got it for a little bit off too for a member sale!

I really like the size. It is super light, very comfortable for reading, gaming, or watching videos holding it in one hand. The screen is better than the one on iPad 8. Overall, it is the best iPad as a companion device. It is a bit old already, there are rumors about the new one coming this year with an updated design and internals. I would not buy this older model right now

The iPad Mini is a great size for reading eBooks, browsing the internet and playing games. The pros: -Great battery life -Great screen -Extremely portable -Very fast The cons: -Not USB-C (Come on Apple!) -Only compatible with the Apple Pencil 1 -Rather small for note taking and drawing -Too small for videos and movies. I prefer a larger screen. Overall, it’s a great iPad and hopefully the 6th version will have USB-C.

This ipad mini is supper convenient to carry around since it's not bulky. I use it for class and I enjoy how fast and responsive it is when I type. The retina display make watching videos more enjoyable because it provides a clear and crisp display. Battery life is excellent as well!!! Highly recommended!!!

You can complain all you want about the big bezels, personally I believe they still deserve their place for our fingers for a better holding experience. The design is more than 5 years old, but there’s no denying the performance. Apple lost their models when they created the A11 processor, which for its time already outperformed most laptops to even today’s standards. With the A12 in this tablet, your dollar goes even further for $400. This screen is still amazing, and was already ahead of its time at 326 pixels per inch and bright accurate colors. The fact that we see this design exist yet again 7 years later just goes to show how ahead of time apple’s genius engineering is. The performance bump makes a huge difference, and I can forgive the average cameras for being a tablet. Get this one folks, it’s your best companion and takes your productivity a little further than your phone.

I watched and read a lot of reviews on this device before purchase. I wasn’t let down with the performance of the iPad mini 5. Great quality, feels very durable. The battery life has been great for me as well. The price was fitting for what it is, in my opinion, and was very easy to use and set up.

Wanted to get into reading. Didn’t want a big iPad again. I love this thing. Great for having around the house. Good battery. Good screen. The multitasking is still on the mini. It’s half a pound, literally. 500 bucks for it, AppleCare, and the fancy cover they sell. Little pricey? But worth.

I admit that I love apple products and this is my new favorite. It’s the perfect size for reading, it’s fast and fas plenty of storage. The camera is also excellent. Like all Apple devices the screen is exceptionally sharp and cleat. The speakers are also excellent.

The iPad mini (latest model) is a very good product. It’s easy to use and high quality. The display is clear with vibrant colors. I like that the iPad mini is small and compact. I love watching YouTube videos on it. I would recommend this product.

Perfect size and great quality , purchased for my toddler and it’s great for her to carry around , lots of learning games available in the App Store and durable with the right case

Got this for my mom, even tho she loves the size, she still thinks she needs a normal size iPad. It depends on what you want to use it for. Think before you get one! It’s perfect for carrying in a purse.
