The faster processor and double capacity compared one before, with Apple Pencil compatibility makes it much better. If only they release it with Face ID!

Great little tablet

The performance is much improved with the mini 5 and also has the fingerprint reader which is nice. My only complaint is the battery life. My five year old Ipad Mini 2 battery lasts at least 30% longer than my new Ipad mini. I find I have to charge it every night instead of every other night. All of the settings are exactly the same. It was also more expensive to buy the 5 over the 2. I mostly use the ipad for streaming TV & music and also to read books using the Kindle App. I would recommend this iPad for anyone looking for a high quality and highly portable tablet .

I don't like the Apple ecosystem and I think they produce over-priced products with planned obsolescence. With that said, I'm a pilot and the flight software I need only runs on iPad, so here I am. The product does exactly what I want and I really don't use it for anything else. The quality is great and the screen resolution works nicely for navigation. Who knows, I may use it for Netflix when travelling, but I'm certainly not going to buy earpods for the price they want. What can I say. I'm a reluctant user but I'm not dissatisfied.
